I've never been much of a hat person but recently decided I should get a cap for outdoors. I wanted something simple, inexpensive and without an obnoxious corporate logo smack dab on the front. The Hat Depot's unisex baseball cap/dad hat fit this criteria. It took a little over a week to get to Pennsylvania from California, and upon opening I noticed that the brim was seemingly bent a little lopsided, but this is easily fixable and it's barely noticeable. I don't want my brim overly curved either so didn't manipulate it too much. The problem is it's sewn on ever so slightly asymmetrical but you have to look closely to notice. I didn't have to adjust the back strap too much either, and the hat fits comfortably on my medium-sized head (I'm a female) without any fabric puckering, and the slide buckle is very secure. The hat brim did stick out a lot more than I had expected but I've gotten used to it. I really like the feel of the thick cotton/light canvas material and the stitching is good, although I did have to singe quite a few loose threads with a lighter. The hat band holds the cap securely onto my head and is overall comfortable although it sometimes makes my forehead a little itchy. The brim seems to be sewn on fairly secure but I'm not testing it by bending my hat around too much. As stated in the product description, this hat is unstructured and collapsible. I bought it in olive and was lucky to receive a cap without any stains and sewn neatly overall--I'm a very discerning customer. I'm really happy with this for it being a $10 hat and definitely planning to buy at least one more in charcoal. I hope my next hat from this brand is up to standard. If you're a hat aficionado and super picky about craftsmanship you may take bigger issue with asymmetry and fit. Also worth noting that the hat I received was manufactured in China, because this factor is important to some people. ... show more

It's probably as nice as the fancy Nike hats you could buy (and is probably made by the same factories) The cap was a nice powder blue that was true to the picture. I like how sturdy it was and got lots of compliments wearing it. The only possible downside is maybe that the cap brim is a little heavier than the back half, so the hat liked to tip toward/over my face. It could also be happening because I have very smooth hair so the hat can't get a good grip. The strap in the back is adjustable and has tons of room to tuck any excess strap into a little pocket. not gonna lie, this hat is just OK. it covers your head, and protects you from the elements. otherwise, its shape is a little off, the bill seems a tad longer than typical designs, and the clasp on the back does not stay put so the hat size will adjust itself as you wear it through the day. when it comes to hats, you get what you pay for, and I got my $13 dollars out of it really quick. who knows...maybe I got a faulty hat. your hat milage may vary. ... show more
