I bought this batting cage as a gift for a friend who’s really into baseball and was looking to get more consistent practice at home. He starting using it now and can’t stop raving about it—so I figured I’d leave a review based on his experience. He said setup was quick and easy—had it up in under 30 minutes with no tools required. The instructions were actually clear, which he appreciated. He’s been using it with both a pitching machine and a live pitcher, and the cage handles both really well. The pitching hole design makes it super convenient to switch between the two. He mentioned that the net feels strong and durable, even with high-speed hits, and the whole structure is really stable. Unlike some of the flimsier cages he’s tried before, this one has thicker poles and ground pegs, so it stays in place—even when it gets windy. All in all, it turned out to be a great gift and a solid piece of equipment for anyone looking to practice seriously at home. Highly recommend!

I hate doing this because the company sent me a replacement after a defect in the first. They were very accomidating and polite. I bought this as Christmas gift 5 months ago. My 13 year old only uses it on the weekends. Yet, a pole broke after my son hit a ball into it. I wish I could return everything and get my money back at this point. Very disappointing.

Arrived as expected. The size and dimensions of this cage worked perfectly with our yard space. It was fairly simple to put together (>2 person job) but the final pole was super difficult to get the net peg in since everything else was tight at that point. We also had to swap out the provided yellow pegs for metal tent pegs. We had a day of windy/rainy conditions that snapped a yellow peg the day after we set it up. No biggie, find those in the camping section for $1. We got it in late March, its mid-May and already my son has hit a hole into it. Son is 12u, 5’11” 170lbs, not an average 12yo but not a huge guy either. He bats with a 32” and will always hit the net when finishing his swing. Doesnt effect the load or hit progression at all, just kinda irritating for follow-thru. Cage netting is a bit soft (see image), wish it was a bit more durable to withstand weather elements and constant ball action. Scenario 1- hitting off a tee or soft toss, he’ll hit towards the closed side of the cage because its completely sealed off. Thats where he created a few holes from hitting towards that section. (See images) Scenario 2- hitting with the machine, he’ll hit towards the opening (where machine is). The edges arent sealed off and any ball with decent exit velo will fly thru the gaps on cage’s edge (see images). We had to ziptie most of the gaps to keep balls from flying out of the cage. Left a few open to allow for weedwhacker to get in and cut the grass when needed. Was good while it lasted. Gonna need to find a net patch.

My 12 year old son spends hours in this batting cage! Cage Design: height, width and length is ideal for a mid-size backyard. The cage does consume one side section of my backyard. Durability: withholds strong winds and fast balls to the net. Easy to assembly and requires 2 people to put together. Worth a money!

Its a great cage but more for kids up to 12, my High school kid used it but is to low for him, he is 6’2. However for a 12u it will be great setup. And would recommend for the price and practical.

Purchased in march of 2025, initially was great noticed this last week end of April the poles were at sharp angles upon closer inspection all 3 unbreakable poles were broken. Can’t talk to Amazon don’t have a company that I can discuss pole replacement.
