It's taken me a while to get to this project but finally opened the package and finished the job. Well packed and shipped to me quickly (3/4"X6"X24"). I didn't need the high quality that they provided but it is much appreciated, very smooth even finish, flat, square, splinter-free cuts, ready for stain, definitely very hard maple, which for my job was what I needed. I used the boards as supplied, no cutting but did drill numerous holes. I highly recommend Barrington Hardwoods, I'll use them again when I need finished hardwood. Shipped quickly and arrived very well packaged to prevent damage to the wood. The maple I ordered is finish planed and sanded on both sides, and has a very nice grain. It will look fantastic once its finished and clear coated.

THIS IS LEGIT hard rock maple—I had no idea how crappy the wood I’ve been using was until I started working this stuff... I thought it was gonna burn out my saw!
