I'm gonna start by saying I don't have anything to compare this to so I don't know if it's any worse or better than anything else. With that being said, I love this mask! I used to sleep with a pillow or my arm over my eyes and realized I liked the weight and pressure that it gave me... but I didn't like the poor circulation. I had NO clue they made products like this but on a whim decided to look into it and after reading reviews I picked up this one. It's been a few months now, and I still sleep with it. It's very comfortable and adjustable. It can get annoying because there's a little bag of sand inside the soft outside sleeve and the sand moves around, but that's also what makes it great because you can push the sand around to hit whatever spot you need the pressure, or less pressure. It makes it completely adjustable to your needs. I have not tried to freeze or heat it (so I can't review that part), although I'm sure it will work and the next time I get a headache I might try it ... show more

Wow! I've worn a number of different types and brands of sleep maaks for several years. But this particular brand of sleep masks stand above and beyond all of them! The weight of the mask and the large size on my face helps out me to sleep almost immediately! I'm able to wear it comfortably even though I wear a CPAP to sleep. It arrived in bad conditions. Gonna see if the mask got saved, gonna try it and update Update! It's all over the place, I actually lost 2 nights of sleep due to this mask. Tried to accommodate as much as possible to my face and it would just make it so uncomfortable and heavy on my eyes. I gave it 2 nights try n did not sleep at all , on the second night I had to give up for the sake of my sleep, around 4am took them off n put my other mask and was finally able to sleep for an hr ... show more

Bought two masks and have only opened one of the packages, but found the mask to be extremely comfortable. The first night I tried the mask with the weighted pouch in place and slept very well. The coolness and the specific weighting of the pouch made for a great night's sleep. Even when the pouch is removed the mask fits snug as a rug. I occasionally work well into the night and have found the mask is second to none for blocking out any light during the daylight hours. Great product and reasonably priced. It sure beats having to purchase blackout curtains for the bedroom. I can't wait for my next long commercial flight to try the mask. I'll surely pass my favorable recommendations on to any fellow passengers who will be envious of my deep sleep! ... show more

This doesn’t work if you have long hair, your hair will get caught in the Velcro strap (I guess I should have thought about that before buying). Also, I have to shake/ smooth out the little balls inside the mask because they like to congregate in certain areas over others. Also not ideal for side sleepers. I'm so sorry, I did not care for it at all. the velcro kept on snagging on to my hair. and, I used the barmy sleep mask, and when I woke up, my right eye felt as if I had been punched and scratched (I'm not kidding nor am I exaggerating). I also noticed that my vision was blurred for almost 3 days. I concluded that the weighted mask was way, way to heavy for my eyes and I imagine that during REM, my eyes must move a lot that it caused friction to the inside of my eyelid. ... show more
