It’ delivers a mild smoke flavor. The torch works quite well. You need a high glass to have liquid and the large ice ball below the bottom of the smoker. After speaking with the company I changed the quantity of wood chips to burn. That was very successful and created a nice smokey drink. It is much easier to use this device than the ones using a vacuum pump.

I was looking for a wood smoking set that would look nice, and be easy to use, and this hit the mark. The main wood base feels solid and good quality. The gold torch as well is very nice. I liked that it came with lots of different woods to try for making the smoke. We tried the pear and cherry woods, and they each provided very different flavors. All in all it's a great set in a nice box and was a very reasonable price.

Great little propane torch for smoking bourbon. Bought it as a gift for my husband. He had fun testing out the different smoke flavors. I would buy it again and recommend it as a gift. The only drawback is the unstained pine box it's packaged in as it looks really inexpensive. I would have paid more for a stained box had it been available at the time of purchase. The torch can also be used with cooking and baking. It's just not limited to smoking bourbon. Four stars due to the box.

I bought this as a gift for my husband who loves whiskey and he was blown away by it. He said it was the best gift ever. The smoker is very well made and produces a lot of smoke. The dome lid is a nice touch and helps to trap the smoke inside the glass. The wood chips are also good quality and have a nice aroma. We have tried Maple and the Oak so far and they all add a different dimension to the drink. This is a must-have for any whiskey lover.
