At first when I received this package I thought I had received the wrong color. It comes in a kind of thick paper bag envelope, but I guess I was looking at the reusable tote bag they include (which is grey and has sheet set inside it). So these sheets are paper thin, they’re very comfortable, definitely not worth the money I paid-which were on sale under $100.00, (but I will give it some allowance of my thoughts since it is organic and more costly to produce). I got the Bering Sea color and it is gorgeous; prettier than the photo on amazon, looks more blue than teal. The sheets are not soft, but that was too be expected. I like the fact that they are more crisp when first getting them; I think crisp sheets show quality in the material and threads used. They cover my king size mattress completely and I am even able to shove about 2 inches in on all sides. I don't believe they have shrunk at all during washing and drying. My best guess is that there probably about 200-300 thread count, Im used to 600 to 800 thread count sheet sets. I wanted to give this product 3 stars originally because these sheets are so thin but the quality is exceptional so I need to give the product some justice in the review.

I love the crinkle of the percale sheets! How adorable is the packaging? The set comes in a fun reusable bag. Awesome to receive such an unexpected gift in a set of sheets. These sheets are crisp and crinkly, my expectation of percale. Does it wrinkle? Yes, it’s percale. I will say they wrinkle less than most percale sheets I’ve tried. I have one ding on this set. UPDATE*** Please don’t feel limited by the measurements provided on the description. I was hesitant because I like a wider top sheet and I have a thick mattress. The top sheet, after washing, measures a very generous 112 inches wide. The fitted sheet is VERY capable of fitting quite a thick mattress and the pillow cases are a generous size also. I’m very happy! Now my only ding is I love sets that come with 4 pillowcases. We always have 4 pillows on the bed. I know I can purchase them but that just feels like a luxury when I can use what I have leftover from old sets.

Touted on line as the softest, smoothest material ever, I ordered a Queen sized bed sheet set. Bare is the brand. Instructions said to launder first to soften material. I now think those instructions were to ensure you couldn’t return them when you found after laundering, they didn’t soften a bit. I used the dryer and also hung them on the line to air dry to see if that helped, nothing did and they are still stiff and uncomfortable. I have been married 67 years and have never in my life had sheets as uncomfortable. The flat sheet also seems to be cut on the bias on the top part There is nothing about them I like and will never order anything from that company or made of bamboo and used for material again. What happened to quality control? Who’s bright idea was that?

Pitched after one night’s use! These are a beautiful dusty rose color- exactly as pictured. However, the fabric isn’t the crisp hotel Percale of other sheets I’ve had in the past. crisp, yes, which I felt when I took them out of the packaging. But percale is also typically soft. These are just plain scratchy- The texture is especially obvious on my face - which felt like it was lying on sandpaper. Would not recommend. (I did also wash them before use, with fabric softener, so it doesn’t seem that a good washing makes them softer).
