The multicolored fantasy hair blend is gorgeous--something I'd expect more from a custom collector rather than default from the factory--and better quality than I expected. If you give it a wash and condition, the hair is incredibly soft. Her face paint is not pixilated at all and is gorgeously designed--I love the purple eyes and blue eyeshadow. Her color scheme is a great choice of colors and the ombré tail with clear fin is pretty. She's one of my favorite Barbie designs ever; I ended up getting two of her so that I could keep one as a mermaid and swap another onto a made-to-move body to have her in human form. When I got this doll I was expecting cheap plastic and a pixelated face since that is apparently Barbie’s brand now. I was very happy when I got her and she had a BEAUTIFUL face! I only got her for her head but even if you wanted to keep the mermaid body it is sculpted to look like she is moving, bends at the hips, and even has a cool see through tail fin. The hair is not good but if you keep it in the elastics it came in it is passable. I got her on sale for $7 and she absolutely was worth that price. The media could not be loaded. She’s giftable, she’s worth the money and definitely durable. I appreciate they all (I ordered others) came in the same shipping box & their own plastic box is in-tacked. Brooklyn Looks gorgeous, but definitely disappointed to the misleading picture of the illusion her necklace would come with her and it doesn’t, unless mine is just missing?! Idk.she also had some brown thing? Molded into the it’s crown. I’ve tried washing it, but it’s molded in there good. Beyond that she’s gorgeous definitely worth getting. ... show more

I was on my way to purchase the new Odile mermaids when I saw this dear little thing and had to have her, too! I'm so happy Mattel is using the "Tori" sculpt again! I love those full cheeks! I also love side-glancing eyes. Her hair and eyes are a lovely shade of lavender. I love mermaids, but this one will get "rebodied" onto a MTM Barbie body for full playability for me as an adult collector who likes to redress and pose my dolls in dioramas and scenes I set up. The face and hair on this Barbie are gorgeous. I had to trim a few stay hairs. I spent some time in the kitchen swapping her mermaid body for one with legs. The yoga Barbie with the purple tshirt is a great match. WARNING: The 2024 Barbies have pixilated faces! Stick with the 2023 mermaids.
