Looks very nice and comes with everything you need to make any party a little extra special. Or just making yourself a nightcap after a long day. Shaker can be used with the big strainer or you can take the top off and strain it through that way as well. I don’t really know the difference. The holder is great at keeping it all together. This bar kit is a convenient completely enclosed box that opens on hinges for display and use purposes. The basic bartending gadgets and tools that are enclosed cover all the necessary tasks to serve up a premium beverage. Items fit easily into assigned slots. The quality of the enclosed tools is decent, nothing inside the box appears to be super cheaply made or of questionable material. The box itself, however, is disappointing. While the listing says this is mahogany- this is some other much lighter, less "solid" material. The product name is unstained and you can see the lighter natural color in the lettering. Because mahogany can refer to a specific color of stain as well as a type of wood I wouldn't call this deceptive, but understand you're not getting a high-end wood product. The wood has some sort of sap or waxy substance on it in odd patterns. I'm going to try to buff and clean it up and may be able to improve the overall aesthetic but am unsure if it's seepage or a sealant they used so I may or may not be successful.
