I have purchased body chains in the past and found that they were made for people who were very tiny. That is not the case with this body chain. I wear a size Medium in most clothing and this fit well. I did have some confusion when I opened the package. It is a long chain, and since it goes around your neck and waist, you have a lot of chain to deal with. The chains were not clasped together, just loose. The chain was stapled to a thin piece of cardboard that was inside a cellophane sleeve. Once I removed it from the plastic, the chains swung all over the place and turned into a twisted mess. I ended up laying the chain on the bed to stop the swinging motion and get the tangles out. Once I had the chain untangled, then I was unsure which end was up. The chain for the neck and waist is the same thickness, but then I realized one set of chains was much longer and decided that was the bottom set of chains. As another person mentioned, the bar does not lay flat, no matter what I did, the bar turns so it is on edge. Now with movement it will sometimes be flat, but not because I positioned it that way, it moves and when I look at it, 9 times out of 10, it is hanging with the edge out and not the flat side of the bar. This is a very simple looking chain, but it is cute. I don't know how long the gold coloring will last, but for a fun chain, the price wasn't bad. ... show more

This is an adorable chain that really adds a pop of style under clothing or a swim suit. It's got a beautiful design and is long so it fits the body well. It comes on a cardboard sleeve laid out very nicely but the second you remove it, the chain becomes completely tangled. It took awhile to untangle and lay it out for use. If you're looking for a piece of jewelry that's also a fun puzzle, this may be it. it arrived on a card, in a bag, and when removed was a tangled up mess that took tabletop space to lay out all 4 chains neatly before using. It's costume quality, make no mistake about that, with the gold hue a little too gold and the attachment points minimal, at best. I wear an XL, and thought this would work per the measurements. It loops around the neck, with a vertical bar in between the two sets of chains, with the second set going around the waist and connecting at the lower back. It fits loosely without even using the full length of the extenders. Wearing it for a night under clothing, the only visible part is the chain at the back of the neck due to the height of the collar on my shirt. With a lower cut shirt, the bar may be visible, but it rested a bit south of my bosoms, so perhaps not. It's comfortable enough to wear that I forgot it was there, thinking it was a seam on my clothing instead. Note from my next time wearing it - if you make it too tight, the jump ring will open and it will break. Entirely my fault. ... show more
