    • The perfect fix for the loud fan
Had one fan not turning when the VW Jetta 2.5 SE was at running temp and the AC on. So, I got this replacement assembly, popped the front up on some jacks, and swapped them. Pretty straight forward. I'd recommend sliding some cardboard up there to protect your radiator while jimmying the new assembly in. Then pull the cardboard out before securing the new part. Been installed for a few weeks now, took about 1.5 hours with cleanup, and she runs real well. No issues with the AC and the parts all fit nicely. 2013 Jetta. ... show more

I just installed these fans and they fit a 2007 rabbit Volkswagen. Unfortunately the only problem I found is that that plug was installed backwards, meaning the part you would press on to take out was facing the fans. It's supposed to face the engine so you can press it with your thumb. I had to take the fans off again to fix this. I later found that you can take the plug out and flip it. Unfortunately the other problem with this was that when I did that, the holder broke so I still had to have the fans off in order to install the old holder. The new holder on these fans was extremely brittle. This did not give me a good feeling but only time will tell. Also these fans have a nut in the middle holding them. The old ones are pressed in. Not that it means anything but it's just something I noticed. They did shipped fast. The fans also do not say where they are made. I'm going to assume china. I forgot to mention that the blades on this are the opposite of the one I took out. They still push the air the same from looking at the arrow and shape though. ... show more
