A good package of two 8W radios, high gain whip antennas and a PL2303 programming cable, and accessories. There are some comments though: 1) cable - the cable is not a PL2303 cable (that is an older usb serial chip that does not require drivers). Even though the cable I received has a sticker on it claiming it is PL2303 it is in fact CH341 (using the CH340 driver). Installing the drivers on windows is somewhat of a hassle, and also on Linux (as BRLTTY grabs the device) 2) radios - looking at the name plate and the FCC ID and CMIIT ID on the radios these appear at first glance to be regular versions. They do have a middle level setting though, so they are indeed the 8W version. Baofeng has not obtained a certification for the transmitter on these. The radios work OK though. There is a small issue with battery meter calibration - it would show 3 bars right up to the last 2-3 hours remaining of battery life. And show 2 bars right until 15 minutes before it tells you that it's shutting off due to low battery. If you press and hold the 0 key you can get a voltage readout in the screen. ... show more
