  • Be sure to measure your child's inseam!
Color: Pink Style: Aluminium Frame
My almost-four-year-old has been wanting a bike and this is ideal. It's a steel frame instead of the aluminum of adult bikes but it's so small it's plenty lightweight. The heavier metal makes it easier to control. Within a couple of weeks my toddler went from staggering around to zooming through the house and down the sidewalk fast enough that I have to jog to keep up. She's a little on the tall side and I measured her inseam before we purchased the bike. It is still a little shorter than I'd like but she'll likely be ready for a big girl bike when her legs get too long to comfortably cruise around on this. The bowed frame makes it easy for her to mount the bike. Moving her leg over the back wheel instead of the frame has taken a little practice and in the meantime the dip keep the frame from catching her shoe. The vibrant color is exactly what a toddler could wish for and helps me keep an eye on the bike while she zooms about. The paint job is durable and matches the quality of the other materials used for the bike. It's handled rough sidewalks, rocky paths, gravel, grass, and asphalt with equal ease. ... show more

  • Excellent Balance Bike for New Little Riders
Color: Blue Style: Aluminium Frame
We have purchased a total of (4) Banana Balance Bikes for our own, and our friends and family's children, and we have not been disappointed with these products. Our son started off on the GT version, and we were going to hand it down to our daughter, but the bike was left behind the van and ended up getting run over in the dark. These bikes are pretty tough, but not tough enough to withstand being squished by a mini van (no children were harmed in the destruction of the bike). We loved the bike so much that we ended up buying an LT version for our daughter (the pink was not available in the GT version), and she is having a blast. One of our friends has a child our son's age, and we got him a GT version soon after we bought the first one for our son, and finally, we recently purchased a LT version for our niece since she is now old enough to start learning how to balance. These bikes are light, durable, and adjust to fit a range of kid sizes. They are the perfect first bike to get your kid started riding - our son is now riding a pedal bike like a pro and has never used training wheels. Our family highly recommends the Banana Balance Bike for any little one starting their bicycle journey. ... show more

  • Great starter
Color: Blue Style: Aluminium Frame
I grew up loving everything bike related. I raced BMX, got heavily into street/freestyle, loved backwoods and downhill mountain biking. So when it was time to get our son his first bike, I was a little excited, but resistant towards this type of bike. I was wrong to be resistant. My son went from cautiously scooting, to fast stepping, to coasting balanced with his legs up in a matter of a week. The spills he took were from a lower position so they were easier to overcome. A year on now and he is ready for a bigger bike with pedals, but the confidence and skills he picked up so quickly with this bike will serve him well with his new one. Tip: 1) we let our son ride the bike in the basement during the winter and set up little driving courses. HOWEVER, the wheels aren't normal rubber wheels so when they take turns too fast they do run the risk of the wheels sliding out from under them. Scuffing the wheels up a little helped but ultimately there is no substitute for rubber wheels. The company website has traditional rubber wheels you can buy. ... show more

  • Perfect Balance Bike but half cost of leading Balance Bikes
Color: Green Style: Aluminium Frame
Got this for our toddler for Christmas and it was a hit. Santa was able to assemble bike with no problem. We were considering purchasing the other leading but double the priced balance bike because who doesn't want the best for their kids...but thriftiness won. So glad it did. It has been played in sunshine and snow and it fairing up well. While not being played, kept snugly in the garage. The adorable name "Banana Bike" is well adorable too. Love the lime color. Was a little skeptical of the wheels because they are plastic not traditional rubber...but have been pleased with the durability. It is a plus that we don't have to keep the tires inflated. We looked at balance bikes with real bike tires and saw numerous complaints of the difficulty of keeping the tires inflated because they are small. Happy we dodged that bee hive. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • I think this is probably the perfect choice for a balance bike
Color: Pink Style: Aluminium Frame
I think this is probably the perfect choice for a balance bike. The design is very close to the Strider, for considerably less. Assembly was easy, the banana shape is nice, and the bike is very light. It is perfectly sized for my three-year-old, and she loves the color (pink). Others have complained about the Strider not having a real bearing in the headset and that as a result steering feels gritty, and I would say that is true of this bike as well. Steering is easy in spite of this, and given that this product is a stepping stone used for a relatively short time, I would call the design "good enough." My only complaint is the axles. They are too small in diameter for the holes in the wheels, and therefore the bearings in the wheels aren't engaged as they should be. Again, this is "good enough" for a small child to push around, but I think it wouldn't be much effort/cost to use a properly-sized axle instead. Bottom line, for the cost and intended use, I think this is an excellent choice. ... show more

  • Great balance bike
Color: Green Style: Aluminium Frame
The media could not be loaded. Bought this bike when my son was 1.5 years old. He’s shorter than most kids his age so he was able to use it some months later. He became obsessed with the bike and rides it everyday in every terrain you can imagine. The bike is indestructible and perfect for all their little adventures. In this video he’s 2 years old and as you can see he is ready for a pedal bike. I’m sure he won’t have any issues skipping the training wheels. This a great bike, you won’t be disappointed. ... show more
