I am very impressed with this dirk bike, this is my second Gotrax product, the earlier one was an escooter for my little one and after a lot of research I bought this for my elder one! Overall I must say all their products are of very good build quality and are made to last a long time. The packaging is very solid as well, while the box would have a little dings in transit, the product inside is so well packed that it does not have a single scratch. This comes almost fully assembled except the handle, front wheel, front mud guard and light. Literally it takes less than ten minutes to put it together and its ready to go! My daughter loves the seat, its very comfortable, its waterproof and is made of very good material. Has two speed options, has front and back lights, both the brakes are disk brakes the tires have a solid grip, and the footrests are foldable. It has a nice easy to use kickstand and charges very quickly. The led display is also very bright to be able to easily see in sunny daylight! My daughter has been using this every day since this has arrived and the battery just keeps going. I think charging it once a week should be fine with moderate use. I charged it overnight and its ready in the morning! This is very powerful and rides well well on grass, dirt, concrete or even paved roads. Kids will take some time to get familiar but once they do, they just love riding this thing. My daughter is very happy with this and I would say its money well spent for a very good quality product! The range is also significant and it was easy to recharge. We've been receiving compliments on how great it looks. This is the first time I've ever owned an E-bike, and I'm impressed with its reliability on both roads and trails. I love the assistance it gives in power, battery life, and range. I have a 10 and a 14-year-old that have been driving this thing around the neighborhood non-stop since it arrived. Shipping was quick, assembly was super simple, and the product was very well packaged. I had the bike unboxed and assembled within 15 minutes of its arrival. The battery came fully charged and has without a doubt exceeded the rated run time. The suspension and lights are very nice features for this price range. He literally comes home everyday from school and starts riding around our neighborhood. Item was easy to assemble. Came with tools needed to assemble. I’ve ridden it myself. It’s quiet. It’s smooth. First and foremost, every detail of this build screams quality. From the moment I opened the box I was shocked how nice of a bike this is - it’s definitely not a cheap kids toy. I’ve owned almost every type of recreational e vehicle out there and every aspect of this child’s dirt bike has impressed me. The frame is sturdy, the shocks are stiff but absorbent, the seat is comfortable and the disc brakes are reliable. The digital display is easily read, showing MPH, eco/sport mode, battery and odometer. The ride quality is just as nice as it looks. Swift acceleration, more than enough to please an 8-12 year old but not so much that they’ll make a life altering mistake. I had to test it out myself as a 200lb male (220 weight limit), and it was surprisingly nimble even for me. The bike was able to maintain 16mph even for me. Gotrax is a quality reliable brand and this new dirt bike follows suit with their history. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an e-bike/ off road bike for a kid 8-14! ... show more

So I bought this electric motorcycle as a way to teach riding fundamentals to my 6-year old son. Aside from not having a clutch, the throttle and brake are on the correct sides of the handlebar. This should make for an easy transition to a gas-powered motorcycle. One of the cool safety features is an autothrottle cutoff when both the throttle and brake are applied at the same time. When an inexperienced rider gets into a sticky situation they will typically pull on the throttle and brake at the same time.
