This is a fantastic buy. It’s sleek, it’s modern, and the bracket gives it the extra support you would need. Here’s a pro-tip from a veteran DIYer. The hardware is cheap China crap because the shelf itself is Chinese. Why people don’t get this I do not understand. You’re paying for the shelf. So you’ll need two small purchases outside of this. A sharpie and a bag of 3/16 wall anchors and screws. Lowes has some alligators rated at 50lbs for $3 and some change for 6. The bracket has spaces for 10, but it’s overkill. If you go in a diagonal pattern on the edges with 2 in the middle, it’s plenty at 50lbs. Plus, less holes in your drywall is never a bad thing. Then after you install the set screws to keep the shelf from sliding out, use your black sharpie to hide the silver. Or flip it upside down like I did because they will be covered by items, which is why I bought the shelf in the first place. It would have been nice if the manufacturer included stickers to cover the set screw holes as it’s cheap to make being paper and adhesive, but not worth knocking a star off because I love the the look and price.

I used the shelves to put small pots of plants, and it works beautifully. If your plants are more upright is the best, as I looked for narrow sized shelves, as I didn't want them to be in the way of heads/shoulders and bushy plants wouldn't work well there.

i love these shelves and would order from this company again. affordable, good looking, easy to install...and we are not terribly handy people when it comes to installing things. we have a good 15 pounds on them now but could add more.

Amazon did a great job, we’ll skip that part :) The outer package was fine, the inner package was also totally fine, the shelfs were also sealed as well, but one of the shelf had a clear production problem before all got packed up, a corner being squished. The overall veneer is slightly “crumbling” at many of its edges. So be aware what you buy these for. Prominent spot in your living room with some items on top that mean something for you - not so much. A small shelf in the corner of your office to place some little things so they don’t occupy space elsewhere - ok-ish. One must admit, the shelfs come with more than enough anchors, even a fair share of anchors for dry walls - but I’d rather would have wished for a better veneer or at least quality check of the product before packaging than the anchors. The only reason I do not return them is that I’ve already attached the first shelf to a wall before spotting the issue with the corner of the second. Would not buy again - for sure not for the price. Overall material is cheap. I actually have similar shelfs from another vendor with similar price (who sadly were out of stock) that are of a better quality overall. So it is doable to produce decent shelfs for that money.

These shelves make an otherwise empty corner of my living room look nice. I love the way they "float" but they definitely can't hold anything too heavy. I tested this with my hand and decided it wasn't worth the risk to put anything substantial there. However, I'm happy with the relatively lightweight items I have on them.

They look good and were easy to install. Mine came with a couple of minor scratches on them which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Wasn't bad enough to make the hassle of sending them back and getting new ones worth it, but a little bit of a disappointment. They look very nice on the wall and are sturdy. I just made sure to put an item over each of the scratches.

The shelves look like solid wood in the pictures, but they are hollow and they require screws through the bottom of the shelf which (in my opinion) messes up the look.
