After 2 months, I’m satisfied with my purchase. It’s a solid razor with a nice weight to it. It took a couple shaves to get used to it, I felt it was a little too safe and had to find the right angle and right amount of pressure to apply. My only real complaint is that it doesn’t rinse out hairs that well while shaving so I have to unscrew it a bit to rinse out but thats only needed once or twice while shaving. The stand is a great addition that I didn’t know existed.

Love this razor. Initially I was very upset that it didn’t work. When I got it, I took it apart carefully so I could put the blade in. Then I put it back the way it was originally. It would not work. Left a bad review. Looked at the pictures again and realized the bottom part was upside down. Teeth should face up! Once it was assembled correctly, it was super easy to use and get the hang of. Just don’t get too comfortable and try to go fast. Slow and steady. It was actually almost therapeutic to shave my legs! :)

I use this just about everywhere I used my old disposable razors. Underarms, legs, bikini etc. Careful around the knees and curves. Follow the directions. Seriously don't press down at all and go slow. You get better and faster at it with practice. This came with one blade that was well packaged and easy to miss. One blade lasts me awhile (still using the original months later but it could use a replacement soon) but I don't shave everyday and I'm not shaving very thick hair. I have not experienced any rust issues but one thing I do frequently is take the razor apart to rinse and dry. Sometimes I'll carefully scrub it a bit (blade and all) with an old toothbrush designated for cleaning. It stays in the bathroom but not always next to the shower. It's so easy to take apart that it just felt like the right thing to do to make sure it dries properly. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because I can see the design flaw mentioned in some of these reviews regarding the center screw. I haven't dropped mine yet but I can see how the screw could be a weak point given that the razor has some weight to it. Maybe a design improvement would be to reinforce the screw. But hey, it's a $20 razor as opposed to a $60+ razor like some razors are priced at. Not bad for the price. Other than that, this is my razor going forward. Double edged safety razor blades are pretty universal so you can get replacements anywhere. At the time of this writing I do not believe Bambaw sells their individual blades on Amazon, which seems to be the only way they'll ship to the US. This razor pays itself off pretty quick when you compare the price of replacement blades (anywhere from 9 to 13 cents per for a decent blade, maybe more depending) to disposables (for me was about 83 cents per and they never lasted as long as the safety razor blades do). A big selling point too was that safety blades are recyclable with your metals. I have a small designated glass jar just for used and dull blades when the time comes. It's going to take forever to fill with how long these blades remain usable. One thing I noticed that I did not expect was my skin isn't red and irritated after I shave like it use to get with disposables. My skin is a bit sensitive. It was bearable but still uncomfortable with disposables. No irritation whatsoever with this razor, just make sure you have soap or something on your skin beforehand. The blade should glide smoothly and not studder across skin. Skin is still dry after shaving but that's normal for me, still not as bad as it was with disposables, just moisturize after which you should do anyway.

I made the switch after reading a lot about razors. I decided to go with a bare razor and this brand had great reviews! Not going to lie, I was very very intimidated. The blade is scary. Over time you do get more comfortable. My best advice is do not rush. Take it slow. Start on your legs and until you are comfortable try your underarms and other areas. It’s worth it and it’s a clean brand. You can also take it apart so it airs out!! Ah I love it!

This is a well-made, heavy, real metal razor that will last a very long time. One has to be careful when using it because it is not one of these new-fangled razors that bend and flex with the contours of your face. Take your time and enjoy the shave and it will work great for you. Replacing the blade was somewhat different. I was expecting the blade holder to open like double doors. These do not. The head unscrews and the blade is exposed to be replaced. Different but not unpleasant. I recommend this razor for its quality.

This razor gives a good close shave, MUCH better than the safety razor that I had been using. itere are no cuts or burns. I did not use the blades that came with the razor but use Derby brand. The razor feels substantial with nice heft, the handle is longer and knuraled for easy grip. It appears to be precision machined with a baked enamel head that makes the razor glide comfortably on the face. I would recommend this razor and order again. I would prefer that it were a butterfly action that would be my only negative.
