I love the size of this. It has four shelves, each holding 16 ornaments and balls for a total of 64 slots. That's enough for my entire 7-foot Christmas tree and then some. While it's well built, I wouldn't call it sturdy. Once everything is stacked inside and ready to put in the closet it's sturdy enough (and lightweight - which is a bonus). But I found that as I was putting my ornaments in, if I moved the shelf from, say, the table to the couch, the individual shelf wasn't sturdy enough to hold everything in place and items would slide underneath the cardboard dividers and I'd have to start all over again with that shelf. Also, if you have a lot of larger balls or ornaments, they're not going to fit. I only have a few that were too large or are long and skinny. I saved those for the top shelf. I still used the cardboard dividers and simply bent back a few of those dividers on the edges, giving me two squares combined. Also, if you have lots of small ornaments, you can fit two or three small items in one square slot. One last small complaint is that there is no fastener to keep the top shut. So, if you don't have a real orderly closet and you somehow knocked this storage container, you'd have quite a mess on your hands potentially. We used a tie strap to make sure it will stay shut if something knocks it over. But overall, I'm very pleased with this. I love the size, the weight and the quality of the materials. The price was good. Once everything is stacked inside the box it's sturdy enough, but take care when filling each individual shelf.

I bought this thinking it would be good for storing my ornaments. It does keep them in one spot, but I was hoping more of my ornaments would fit into the cardboard slats. They are small and made for circle ornaments. I used the ornament holders on one side, and had to disassemble the left to keep my bigger Hallmark ornaments. The cardboard is not very strong and bends easily. I'll still have to wrap my bigger ornaments to keep them from moving around.

I purchased this organizer to store Christmas ornaments. The other organizers I have for ornaments are plastic and more sturdy than this soft sided cube shaped organizer. It was easy to assemble but I am concerned about the safety of my ornaments if this was dropped. I did wrap all of the ornaments in bubble wrap or tissue paper. It is reasonably priced, delivered overnight and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will protect my ornaments.
