WOW, these are truly great joggers. I was skeptical because it’s harder these days to find quality clothing items on Amazon—in colors I like, with natural fibers, and without annoying features like fuzzy lining. I really like these! I like to limit this synthetics in my clothing, so I was glad to purchase cotton. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that I do wish for an organic cotton version, and it would be nice to have a low rise version. It is hard to find anything low rise these days, so sometimes I fold the elastic down on many clothing items. They have not shrunk, the waistband is fairly comfortable for being a high waist, they are nice medium weight, not too warm and not too cool, and they don’t wrinkle very easily. I have mostly hung them to dry, but I put them in the dryer once on low heat. The color still looks good, but the dryer may have removed about 5% of its vibrancy. They at least did not shrink in the dryer. I plan to hang them from now on, just to preserve my investment. I’ll probably get another color. Manufacturer, please make a low rise version, and please offer organic cotton! ... show more

These are comfy, versatile and the jogger style is flattering. Material is more lightweight but they are not too thin or see through. I love that they are cotton (but it looks like some of the gray colors are a lower cotton concentration, so if that’s a concern of yours, double check!) I think they’re worth the price. As for fit, they do run a little more slim through the legs I think. I got this pair for work to wear as scrub bottoms because I literally can’t find any scrubs that are cotton instead of polyester. I ordered a medium because I didn’t want them skin tight and I don’t like tight waistbands. They’re a very appropriate fit for work. If buying more pairs for personal wear at home or gym I’d opt for my normal size, small. The waist is also not too tight, the medium is actually a little roomy when worn at my natural waist but I roll them down once and that works just fine. I also feel like there’s a little bit of excess material in the crotch since I sized up but it’s not that bothersome. I’m 5’3” and 139lbs for reference. ... show more

    • Great pants! Attention C-section moms!!!

These pants are glorious and I’m wearing them right now. I wish they made them in more colors. They are perfection. I am 5’5” and about 125 lbs and purchased a Small. I would describe them as a midweight cotton/spandex type material (like a pair of leggings) but in a brilliantly comfortable jogger sweatpant design. They are not heavyweight or fleece-lined like typical sweatpants, but not as light as cotton pajama pants. The high waist and back pocket are nice features. I’ve had 2 C-sections, and if I had known about these pants during my recovery, I would have lived in them! The snug-but-not-too-snug fit, high-rise waist, and functional drawstring make these pants ideal for postpartum moms. The only downside of these pants is that they are starting to destroy my marriage. I can’t help but notice my husband’s slightly pained expression as we leave the house and he says, “Oh, wearing those pants again?” with palpable disappointment in his voice. But what can I do? I love these pants. Eventually I know I will have to choose between him or these pants. It’s going to be difficult and I sure will miss my husband. EDIT (8 months later): My color dreams have come true! I just ordered these pants in light grey, charcoal, and navy - which is true navy though it looks lighter in the photos. I sized up to Medium for this round because my original black pair did shrink in a dryer cycle and I’m on the cusp of the two sizes anyway. I still LOVE these pants and highly recommend them for pregnant mamas-to-be searching for postpartum loungewear. Oh, and as for my marriage ... my husband has sworn to love me through my pants obsession :-) ... show more

The fit is fine. Haven’t washed them yet so can’t comment on fading. However, I’m SO disappointed in the fabric. It clearly says on the tag - 91% cotton and the remainder is spandex. I don’t believe it one bit! The feel should be a soft, comforting knit. This is slick and probably not absorbent.

    • Love These Baleaf Pants, But Make Sure You Check Product Specifications!

These are nice pants, but I thought all the colors were cotton & spandex, however, some of them have polyester in them. I ordered a pair in black & they're cotton & spandex, so I didn't bother to check the charcoal gray ones, I just figured they were the same thing, just a different color. The charcoal gray ones have the polyester in them, which makes them feel like light-weight sweatpants. They're not what I wanted, but I'll keep them, because they are nice, & will be perfect for cool days. Just make sure you check the product specifications so you get the material you want, I love Baleaf pants, I have another pair of them that I wear all the time. They're so comfortable, for lounging around the house, running errands, or even going out to dinner. They wash up nice too, with no shrinkage. They're my go to pants, & that's why I ordered two more pair. ... show more
