These seemed like a really good solution for my legacy lightning products, like my iPhone. Unfortunately, they are very poorly made and both of them very quickly had intermittent and eventual nonexistent connections. That started within a month, and by two months they were junk. Also left me in the lurch when I couldn't charge. Using one of them, I got a very strange warning that the phone detected liquid in the adaptor and that I'd ruin my phone if I didn't take it out right away. (There was no liquid at all.) I can covert a C cord from my iPad mini to accommodate my iPhone 10 to charge it. It works very well for charging both. Just take off the adapter for the iPhone to charge the iPad. No need for two cords. Recommend!

BEST THING ABOUT IT: they work ADDITIONAL LIKES: decreases the number of cables needed WORST THING ABOUT IT: no retaining device ADDITIONAL DISLIKES: none COMMENTS (Function, Appearance, Quality): These small couplers work well and allow you to travel or be mobile with a C-cable and be able to charge lightning and USB-C devices. The work, feel solid, but are very small and there is no way to secure them when not in use. One will need to use care to keep from losing them. They is no change in the voltage output at cables end and the end of the adapter (register 5 volts in both situations). No noticeable affect on charging speed, though I have not objectively measured it. MOST SUITABLE FOR: use to decrease the number of cables you need to pack IS IT WORTH IT?: They are borderline here, but it is convenient to not have to carry both USB-C and lightning cables, so eventually, they would become worth it. *PRECISE RATING: 4 (so small I am sure they will be lost at some point, would be nice it they had a tether.) RECOMMENDATION: I can recommend these adapters to anyone needing both C and Lightning chargers.
