I bought this jacket to use when I went hiking was a little concerned that it would not be breathable material. It was perfect. Provided the sun protection I wanted, but I was also able to not sweat like crazy in it. It does breathe and it’s lightweight.

EDIT: I purchased another jacket in the same size, different color. I really wanted to keep it, but it fit smaller than the first one I bought so I had to return it. I see that other reviews say that they have had similar experiences with the jacket fit varying for the same size so be sure you try them on. I love how lightweight and buttery soft the fabric feels! It will be great to throw on this summer and at this price point, I won’t worry about losing or soiling it like I would a more expensive premium brand jacket. I am 5’5” tall, 120 pounds and I first bought a size Medium because I do not like my clothes too tight. I found the Medium to be loose, the sleeves a bit too long, and the bottom of the jacket flared out around my hips. So I ordered the size Small and I like the fit much better! I ordered two of this and I’m so glad that I did. It’s very hard to find a zip up sun hoodie and this one is a great bargain. I love the longer sleeves with the thumb hook to protect my hands from the sun. The hood helps protect your scalp and face and even has a ponytail opening if you need it. The jackets are extremely lightweight and I have it in the dark pink and light blue. I loved the dark pink color but the light blue is better on a really sunny day. I’ve used these on the beach, cruises, and in the mountains while hiking in warm weather. These are about half the price of similar items and a really great deal.
