I've been trying to find the "just right" pair of wide legged pants for winter, and these might just be them. The legs are wide, but not so wide that you've got massive amounts of fabric swinging around each leg. There's fleece! Like, actual fleece, which I couldn't say for at least half the supposed "fleece lined" things I've purchased lately. Even better it's some kind of tight knit, super soft fleece without being "hairy" or something that kind of mats together after washing and ends up being irritating against my skin. Also makes it so you don't feel cold wind going through it. (Granted, on the coldest, windiest days I still wear lined leggings underneath it.) Fit wise a small was perfect for me. (I'm 5'6" and a fit but curvy 140, and small is my typical size.) Length wise they graze the top of my foot, so no worries about them dragging on the ground. And on my short waisted body the top of the waistband is a little above my belly button. Otherwise they seem very well constructed, and didn't shrink on me. Only complaint is they do seem to love static, but that seems to be common when it comes to anything with fleece.

I loved the way these sweatpants feel, they are very soft and warm however much too long and the slits on the bottom of each leg make them drag on the ground. If you are at least 5'6 these would be perfect but at 5'4 they were much too long. Otherwise they are made well and very comfortable!

The fabric is very nice as is the leg width and the overall line of the pants. The lining is soft and doesn’t add bulk to the hips or legs. The rise is on the shorter side but adequate. Appearance is dressier than a pair of sweats with the comfort of them and additional warmth.
