My 2 year old most likely has a sensory processing disorder. We're waiting on a formal diagnosis but she's been in OT since she was 4 months old for her various sensory difficulties. These stepping stones are toddler, mom, and OT approved! The different sizes, colors, and ridges along the tops of the stones all provide a variety of sensory input. We typically create an obstacle course for her leading to a gymnastics bar, and sometimes have her carry a small bowl of water across the stones as she steps. These have been so, so good for her overall well being and I'm beyond thrilled that we got them! They're also very light weight and easy to clean.

My kids love these! Each stepping stone has a silicone/slip resistant edging. All but the top one also have ridges and dots on the top to help little feet grip better. They're a great boredom buster; we use to make obstacle courses and get out energy when it's too hot/cold to go outside. They stack up nicely, making them easy to put away.

Ok I know these are made for kids, but I use them for my puppies. They learn to climb and be confident. These don't slide around, so they are very stable, and easy to clean. Very happy with this product.

This is a very nice product as it had many PROs: - upper surface is textured enough to be nonslip without being uncomfortable to step on barefooted/with socks only - bottom is super grippy to hardwood floor that you wont have to worry about it sliding out from under you jump/leap. Also had not left streak marks on the floor - it is beautiful and so easy to store- you can stack it but also put smaller pieces inside the bigger pieces like a Russian nesting doll - strong and durable material. Adults (I am 125lbs) can jump and bounce on them no problem and use them for balance training and rehab. The only CON is: All but the smaller red piece have raised edges that hurt your feet if you accidentally land on it when you are hopping from one color to the next. However, this would not be a problems if you are careful to just step on the inside and also if you wear shoes.

This is a great little set for the price! We use it with our younger toddlers when it is raining outside as a fun way to get our cardio activity in. They love it and so does the staff! Very fun little set!
