I have a relatively small head for an adult and the medium in this was too small for me. I was able to get it on but it didn't cover my ears all the way. The parts of my face that were covered stayed very warm and I like the breathing holes. This is a great balaclava if it fits your head.

I bought this for myself, but I plan to give it to my 8 year old. They weren’t kidding when the said it was supposed to be tight. Yes, it is very tight. I was able to get it over my head, but I felt pretty claustrophobic. Once it was on it was ok-ish. The cap kept slipping off my head. I guess my head is too big. I was wearing a ponytail so that probably contributed to it slipping up and off my head, but it was annoying enough for me to not even want to wear it. I absolutely LOVE the fleece-lined material and the breathing holes that they added into the mask.

I recently bought a motorcycle and wanted to extend my riding into the cooler season. I saw the Souke Sports Store Balaclava face mask so I ordered it to give it a try. The Balaclava is a high quality face mask that fits comfortably and is very warm. The one thing I liked best is it was advertised as being windproof. I can attest to this when I went for a ride. It does a good job of keeping my face, neck, ears, and head warm but without being too think so it doesn't fit under my helmet. This is a nice piece of outerwear that is very warm.
