Ordered these for my sister and she loved them. Now, let’s be clear - there are some tasty calories involved: 465 according to the packaging. Totally worth it! The have a light, slightly salty taste and are very soft. The packaging really does keep them fresh & has directions for heating them (microwave or conventional oven), lists of ingredients and nutrition facts, and the website of the bakery (in Westchester, Ohio). I microwaved one (30 seconds right inside of the packaging), but added a bit of Kosher salt to the top. It was wonderful and filling - especially when dipped into some old-fashioned yellow mustard. Mmm-mmm—good! They are about the size of an adult-sized hand with the fingers spread out wide (officially about 6 oz. or 170 grams). They don’t really look like the picture provided to Amazon, but I’m guessing that’s because they had to be able to fit them into the air-tight packaging. They don’t have that buttery-yellow coloring seen on the picture, but I was more concerned about the taste & freshness. There are no added flavors (like you might get at an Auntie Annie’s) but you could add them yourself if that’s what you like. Over all, we liked them! ... show more

I love big pretzels, growing up inn Brooklyn i became appreciative of a good pretzel, I paid 5 cents each back in the day. So after taking this amazon jump to pay almost 3 bucks apiece I was hoping to really enjoy these pretzels ...but no...After they arrived I left 3 unfrozen and warmed each up in a variety of ways, I froze the rest and over the past 4 days warmed each differently trying to hit a sweet spot that would let a real pretzel taste and smell come through, but every way, although they looked good... but tasted blah....so there you go a first world disappointment,,,, ... show more

After working in Philly for a few years in the early 2000's, I found myself consuming at least one soft pretzel a day, served warm from a variety of street vendors. I mentioned this to a group of friends at a dinner party one night and a few days later an Amazon box arrived, which I found odd as I hadn't recently ordered anything. Upon opening it I was delighted to find a dozen individually wrapped soft pretzels with a note from a friend from the dinner party. I've been ordering a dozen monthly under the Subscription service ever since and they are a fantastic treat. Just a tip: Make sure you cut a slit in the plastic and then put it in the microwave for 20 to 40 seconds depending on your microwave, ... show more

They are soft, warm up nicely. They just don't have the taste of a soft pretzel. More like a bagel. Kind of flat in taste! But I tried..
