I do a lot of paint by numbers but this is probably the most detailed I’ve ever seen, which is good for me because I like a challenge. A lot of the spaces are pretty tiny so keep that in mind. But the end result is so pretty! Plenty of good quality paint, and very relaxing. This is not an overnight project and all colors required two coats of paint, sometimes 3 or 4. I bought this as an activity to do with my mother. We have been really enjoying completing this kit; however, the only issue that we have run into is that the lids of each paint capsule is very tight and difficult to open. Since my mom currently has reduced energy due to illness many of them are nearly impossible for her to open or close without help. Apart from that issue, everything else is great. There is a lot of small, irregular shapes to paint in which may be difficult for those with poor near eyesight - but the paint quality is thick and pigmented and really works well on the canvas. The image itself is very pretty as well and a great gift to see after completion of the artwork Pro: -Beautiful, pigmented paint -Can spend lots of time painting Con: -Difficult to operate lids of the paint -Paintbrush qualities are a bit lacking All in all, A fun kit to spend time completing. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Took a long break from this painting and the paint dried out. Now I can’t finish it :( The paint can’t be rehydrated; it’s sticky and gummy. It was good while the paint was still good; some colors take more layers to cover the black lines and numbers. Was looking forward to framing this and hanging in my guest bedroom. Disappointed that the paint can dry out! Worth buying but just make sure you have time to finish relatively soon. ... show more

What a delightful difference. This is the fourth paint by numbers picture I have done as an adult and the most expensive. I hesitated to spend this much on a project to kill time when it was too hot to go outside but boy was the price difference worth it. The canvas was rolled in a box not squashed and creased. The paint is thick and goes on smoothly. There is more than enough paint for two Coates if require! The brushes are actually usable. AND you can read the numbers. I’m frugal but I will be purchasing here again. This one is fun. No stress because you can’t read it or don’t have enough paint . Five stars! ... show more
