This is a nice comforter and very good at the price point. The fabric is a little "starchy" for lack of a better term, but with time it should soften I'd think. It puffed up after being taken out of the vacuum packed bag it came in, and being tossed around a bit. It provides good insulation but isn't super hot. REVIEW: Bafode Goose Feather Down Comforter King Size - All Season Goose Feathers Fiber Duvet Insert - 100% Cotton Cover Warmth Bedding Comforters - White Fluffy Comforter This 95% feather and 5% down feather duvet works as it should and keeps me cool at night. It's odd, It kept me warm but I didn't sweat while using it. I liked that feature a lot. While traveling for business, the hotels would often have this type insert. By the description, I thought I might be getting something like the hotels offer. I was a bit disappointed. I unpacked it and it looked pretty nice. It puffed up fairly well but not as I thought it would. The fabric is not soft and it makes a crinkling sound when it is being touched and moved around. It really was annoying, but most, not all, of that sound went away after a couple of washes. Also, since the fabric wasn't soft, I thought a couple washes would help that too. It did get a little better but it doesn't feel as I was expecting. It's slowly becoming one of those quilts you would wrap around yourself for comfort. I'm hoping after a few more washes, the fluff will be better and the outside fabric will get softer. Only time will tell.

I got this for one of our guest bedrooms and it works well. It is light weight and the comforter is well made. It isn’t extra fluffy like advertised. I wouldn’t use this for my bedroom, but it’s great for guest rooms!

Nice comforter. My dogs love sleeping on it. I find that it works nicely in any temperature (I live in TX and it is HOT right now). The only criticism I have is that the material is not the softest (initially) but it doesn't bother me any longer.

I got the twin sized for my daughter's bed. She wanted something fluffy to go under her decorative blanket. This blanket comes in a vacuum sealed bag and it does take some time for it to fluff up. We even put it in the dryer to get it fluffed even more. However, it isn't a super fluffy blanket. It is cozy and well constructed and it fits nicely. It is lightweight for sure.

The comforter is very heavy so probably only for winter use. The fabric, while cotton, is not all that soft, though this might change with use. The down holding squares are too big, so the down moves around and clumps together, and there is really insufficient down in them. It's just an okay comforter.

TL;DR Good quality, nice details in a summer weight down comforter. — I love down comforters. This one is thin—hence the “lightweight” description. It’s definitely meant to be a summer/warmer climate comforter. Left it out to fluff up for 2 days, then put it on my bed when it seemed it wasn’t going to do any more poufing. No goose feathers detected. It feels like it’s entirely made of down. It’s got that down/duck smell, which I assume will wear off a bit once it’s washed a few times. Fabric of the comforter is a little stiff initially. Washed it and it softened a little, so I imagine it’ll get better with more washings. It survived machine washing fine, too. No major loss of down and it puffed right up again. The box stitching is completely closed, which is different from other comforters I've had. It prevents the down from moving around at all. Not sure what the cons are. It also has great little details like tiny straps sewn in for duvet covers that have ties. Really loving it for early summer. It’s probably getting kicked off the bed when it daytime temps are in the 90s and above, but for overnight temps in the 60s, it’s perfect.

We're happy with this nice comforter and have had no problems. It's a snowy white, so if you have pets or children, or if you snack in bed, you should get a duvet cover for it. It has an appealing puffiness without being heavy -- great for the mild weather in northern California. The only downside is that it arrived in a vacuum shrunk plastic package and was very wrinkled, and even 15 minutes on "low" in the dryer with a damp washcloth couldn't relax those creases (though it was a little better). Other than that, we're very happy with this puffy, lightweight, cozy comforter and are awaiting our duvet cover!
