  • Warm and Comfortable
Size: 9 Color: Taupe
These boots are fantastic. A friend recommended them after getting them on a Black Friday sale. We ended up paying full price but they are worth it. Warm and comfortable. Did find that many of the ice cleats do not fit but found ones that do and make these a must for walking on icy snow. Shipping was prompt. ... show more

  • Baffin Boots Beat Below Freezing Temps Beautifully
Size: 9 Color: Black
Baffin boots for women are very comfortable and keep my feet warm in below freezing temperatures while walking. Easy to slip on and cinch the boots closed. I went a size up as others had recommended. Glad I did. Down side is that the closure is not at the top of the boot and my concern is that snow may get inside. ... show more

  • I think these are the ones !
Size: 9 Color: Black
I’m super picky when it comes to shoes and boots. In fact, I haven’t replaced my Solomon snow boots for 15 years because I couldn’t find the perfect replacement. I think these boots will be the one. They are a bit bulky and heavier than other boots on the market, but so were my old ones and I’m ok with that as long as they meet my priorities: 1. Footbed more like a tennis shoe. We like to walk several miles a day the mountains and at ski areas so need a good footbed and a nice roll 2. Soft and warm (feet feel wrapped in cozy) 3. Good toe box (I have a bunion so narrow boots are a no-go) 4. Good traction 5. Not too difficult to put on but able to handle deep snow I haven’t put these to the test yet but believe they will be a great replacement. I will try to update the review later. Note that I might add a thin orthotic if I decide not enough arch support and cushion, but there is room to do so. Per other reviews that they run small so I ordered size 9. I’m a size 8 in running shoes (ASICS) and am glad I did. Either way I think upsizing is a good call ... show more

  • Look super warm, but clunky
Size: 6 Color: Taupe
So bought 2 pair recommended by Travel & Leisure as the best women’s snow boots - these Baffin’s and a pair by North Face. Strangely, T&L said the Baffin’s were swankier looking. Not true. Opposite in fact. The Baffin’s are probably warmer - they have an inner boot liner - but look big time clunky and chunky. Love the North Face, which were less expensive. ... show more

  • Really Warm Boots
Size: 7 Color: Black
I am very happy with the boots. There is some break in time. I normally wear size 6 but after reading the reviews I went up a size to 7. When I put them on the first time they felt too tight and I didn't think I was going to be able to wear them. I switched to thinner socks and went for a walk. The thick insulating padding inside the boot adjusted to my foot as I wore them. I walked around for an hour or so. The next time I wore the boots I was able to wear a thicker sock. The boots became more comfortable the longer I wore them. I am a professional gardener and wanted a warm boot to wear outside during cold days. The lower part of the boot is completely waterproof and mud cleans off easily but I wouldn't wear them in the pouring rain. I will wear these boots on days when it is cold and dry. I work in the pouring rain so on those days I will switch to my Baffin knee high rubber boots. But these boots were just what I was looking for. Something fashionable and warm. I love them. They are somewhat stiff and you wouldn't be able to run very far in them but they feel so warm! I also live on a farm so when walking through tall grass and weeds the fur trim on the outside will grab sticky weeds but they are still great for walking the dog through the fields. UPDATE: Still love my boots but when walking in very wet tall grass the moisture soaked through the boot at the seam line where the rubber and leather meet on the bridge of my foot. So the boots are very warm and I love them but they are NOT waterproof. I will have to wear tall rubber boots in the pouring rain or when I walk through tall wet grass. So these boots are more for dry cold weather ... show more

  • Love these boots
Size: 7 Color: Taupe
I live in the mountains of Colorado. Therefore through the 25 years I've lived here I have owned a lot of boots. Sorrels which have a poor fit and not warm, Baretraps not water proof at all, Bearpaws great except NO traction - very very slippery. I was looking for a boot that kept my feet warm and dry without making my feet sweat and kept me from slipping on ice. In my search, I had tried other boots and wearing them around the house, within 30 minutes my feet were damp. So those were returned. These are very warm and I never sweat even when wearing them all day. Also I have stepped through ice water puddles that were deep enough to cover the toe box - 6" or so and water did not seep in. I am not sure if they would keep water out if you were to just stand in a puddle, but for me these boot are fantastic. Another note is that I wear a size 6.5 to 7 so I bought a size 7. They fit fine and I don't really have to tighten the laces because they fit my foot. This boot is padded with foam on the upper part, so it fits sung, yet if I put a thicker sock on, the foam just gives way and there is still room. I love the fact that I don't even need to tighten the lace - just slip them on and off. That might change as they get more packed out. I will update my review if that happens. And I have not slipped once - even when walking over ice. Lastly, I bought these because a friend had a pair. They looked brand new and she had them for a couple of years. She lives on 30 acres where they have to get out and shovel and plow so looks like they wear great also. ... show more

  • Not it
Size: 9 Color: Taupe
These ended up being too narrow for me and have heel slippage. I have a wide forefoot, high arch, and narrow heel and wear a 8-1/2 in running shoes. I went up a half size to a 9 to accommodate my foot shape and thick wool socks. Even with a thin sock they squish my forefoot. Going up an another whole size would make them much too long. They’re also very stiff but I assume would break in over time. ... show more
