  • Really Warm Boots
Size: 7 Color: Black
I am very happy with the boots. There is some break in time. I normally wear size 6 but after reading the reviews I went up a size to 7. When I put them on the first time they felt too tight and I didn't think I was going to be able to wear them. I switched to thinner socks and went for a walk. The thick insulating padding inside the boot adjusted to my foot as I wore them. I walked around for an hour or so. The next time I wore the boots I was able to wear a thicker sock. The boots became more comfortable the longer I wore them. I am a professional gardener and wanted a warm boot to wear outside during cold days. The lower part of the boot is completely waterproof and mud cleans off easily but I wouldn't wear them in the pouring rain. I will wear these boots on days when it is cold and dry. I work in the pouring rain so on those days I will switch to my Baffin knee high rubber boots. But these boots were just what I was looking for. Something fashionable and warm. I love them. They are somewhat stiff and you wouldn't be able to run very far in them but they feel so warm! I also live on a farm so when walking through tall grass and weeds the fur trim on the outside will grab sticky weeds but they are still great for walking the dog through the fields. UPDATE: Still love my boots but when walking in very wet tall grass the moisture soaked through the boot at the seam line where the rubber and leather meet on the bridge of my foot. So the boots are very warm and I love them but they are NOT waterproof. I will have to wear tall rubber boots in the pouring rain or when I walk through tall wet grass. So these boots are more for dry cold weather ... show more

  • Made To Last Forever!!
Well made, fit perfect, sharp looking, very warm for my toes, boots!! Get lots of compliments; super comfortable, too!! UPDATE: I've had my first pair for a couple years now; gone through 2 WI winters and I can't say enough good things about these; so glad I stumbled across them. Very warm, very 'grippy' soles, stylish (get lots of compliments), easy to slip in and out of and the biggest plus is I broke 2 metatarsal bones in my right foot Aug 2018, and it took forever to heal. The plus is that the top of the boot where the rubber meets the suede, doesn't sit high on my instep (like Sorels do), so it doesn't aggravate my still very sore foot. Love, love, love these - be sure to order a size up as the lining (which keeps the toes toasty) is thick, but soft and will form to your foot after wearing awhile, but initially makes the boots feel small. I've since ordered 2 more pair; not because I've even come close to wearing this pair out - I just don't want to find myself in a situation where they might quit making them or they wouldn't be available. ... show more

  • Best winter boot I have ever owned! Love these boots!
These are the best boots I have ever owned. Living in a very winter area with temps that get below zero these boots are perfect for me. I have been out in zero degree weather and my feet do not get cold. These boots are very comfortable and their grip is amazing. I walk a mile everyday in the winter and these light weight boots are great for that. I walk where it can be icy and the grip is fantastic on these boots. I won't ever buy another brand of winter boots. I am totally sold on Baffin boots. Top quality, great fit and a super all around boot! I did get a size up and am glad for that. At first they seemed snug, but after my first day of wearing them my feet melted into them and now my feet glide right into them. I knew the first day I put them on these we're gonna be great boots and they are. ... show more

  • Great boot but NOT for snowshoeing
Size: 11 Color: Taupe
I bought these after feeling annoyed that I was having to purchase a new pair of Sorel boots after each season of snowshoeing. I have been pleased with the fit- despite others mentioning that they needed an extra size up, I found my regular size (11) perfect even with my thick winter socks. I have also been pleased with the warmth. During moderate activity (just casually walking) these boots have zero issue keeping my feet warm in below freezing temperatures. The height up the calf is great for allowing movement but still prevents most snow from getting inside the boots. The tread provides decent grip on icy conditions. The minor drawback to these boots is that they are not cute (unlike the Sorels I typically purchase)...but I was willing to overlook esthetics for performance, which up until my second month of snowshoeing had been great. Unfortunately, I’m guessing from where the snowshoe bindings connect and rub, both boots have developed holes where the leather upper coming unfastened from the rubber bottom. Now my feet are soaked by the end of each outing... apparently getting a full season out of my Sorels was a better deal than I thought... I would still recommend them just not for someone who snowshoes. ... show more

  • Best winter boots I've had!
Size: 8 Color: Taupe
This is my 2nd pair of Baffin Chloe boots. I wore my first pair for years, with much use each winter. Finally wore them out and bought this year's model. LOVE THEM! While they are definitely stylish for a heavy duty winter boot, they are warm, comfortable and fit true to size. Definitely recommend!!

  • Baffin Boots for Winter
I have a pair of baffin boots that are 12 years old and still going. Thats insane! Especially for any type of shoe or boot. So when i decided to upgrade to a new pair. I checked baffin first. The reviews were confusing and disheartening. However, i looked all over for the style i loved so much in my first pair of baffin boots. These boots are light weight and the bottom have the rubber which protect against the slush and water. They are very warm and cute. A tad loose around back foot and ankle. Length wise I'm glad i went up a size. However, width wise, the shoes weren't as tight as i thought they'd be. (I have wide feet) All in all, i dont think i would want to pay more than $60 or $70 for these boots. Only time will tell if they are worth more! ... show more
