    • Badia a Coltibuono - simply the best.
Product information is a little sparse and no information provided as to date of harvest but I figured I could easily return it if there was an issue so I gave it a shot. Badia a Coltibuono has always been one of my favorites not only for EVOO but also for their excellent Chianti. I'm pleased to say that my particular bottle was harvested in Fall 2024 and bottled/released in 2025. I purchased it in January 2026 so it's current inventory and I will have used it up long before it starts to lose freshness in a year or two. The taste is, as it should be, strong and fruity with that throat-burn which is characteristic of all good olive oil - the better the oil, the more pronounced the burn. (It's caused by oleocanthal, which is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory substance.) This is the real deal; not cheap but it's about as good as it gets unless you happen to be in Tuscany. ... show more

A incredible tasting! Use w mozzarella basil etc ! Bread! On rigatoni. Nutty pungent and delicious! Pricey but as you know you get what you pay for! Makes a great gift for someone Special.

Extraordinary. Don't ever let anyone tell you that all olive oil is the same. This product's smell, texture and taste is incomparable. It improves whatever food you cook, especially chicken. I offered my compliments but asked what olive oil he used, he went to the kitchen and produced this, I snapped a photo and it has been a staple in my kitchen for 5 years now.
