You will not find detailed plans. Has nice photos from several angles, sometimes sketches. No material lists. Most cases you have to figure out how to build the project. Still, the book is OK with very nice ideas.

Although there were ideas in the book I know will never be used, there are a lot of ideas to help develop a safe haven for the entire family, not to mention the children who will play, dream, have adventures and dream more. I purchased the book to help my son with ideas for outdoor play for his son. As I purused (and that's all I did) the pages, the directions seemed to be simple, suggestions were given and warnings for things to be sure to remember to do or to look for were given too. This book is a good general guide for backyard ideas. The pictures were great and clearly showed what was being described. Some of the explanations for building were detailed, but most were a little general. I would've liked more details about some of the projects. I think I was hoping for more treehouses than playhouses. Still a good book which perfectly fits its Amazon product description. ... show more
