*nearly one year later! THIS BACKPACK IS THE GOAT! Guess who didn't need, or want, a new backpack this year? Yup! My kid still has this one. Still in great shape, and he LOVES it. It lasted through Archery, lasted through baseball and summer baseball, and through the entire school year and is heading into its second year of abuse and still looks great. Buy the thing. * Ordered this in October. 3rd month my son (14) has been back to school and this is his 3rd backpack! They either don't make backpacks like they used to, or my kid is chewing the bottom out of them. Jury is out. At this point I'm literally scrolling and searching terms like "cheapest backpack" because I'm planning on buying like 40 throways and praying for the best. Found this one and it was cheap, so why not? Give it a shot. Pleasantly surprised. Has held up well so far, plenty of room. Fingers crossed it makes at least the two month mark. 🤣 It seems good, though. Obviously not a $100 backpack, but better quality than the "good" backpacks I bought him before.

OK so I do not have a car and my bike is my main transportation so it is an absolute necessity that I have a sturdy Roomie backpack so that I can transport groceries and pretty much everything else that I might need. I shopped around and shopped around looking for bags. There were so many that were so expensive. Then I found this bag and for the price I honestly my expectations were not very high. I was very very pleasantly surprised when it arrived and I opened it and saw the quality of the materials in the construction. Very well done. I’ve been putting this bag through very heavy use for a while now and there are no signs of it breaking down. Now let me just finish by saying I was getting to a bit of a desperate situation because all of my other backpacks, many of which were very expensive, were pretty much on their last leg and coming apart. So this bag saved the day or month or a year actually all of that you cannot go wrong with this bag. Don’t let the price scare you into thinking the quality is going to be subpar because it’s not. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be purchasing another one probably not for sometime however because this bag shows no signs of Giving up

I bought this for my son in 7th grade. He has a lot of large textbooks, notebooks, and folders for each class And also his pens, pencils, highlighters, erasers, calculator, laptop, phone and house keys that he has to carry with him every day and his backpack is usually very heavy and very full. Last years backpack the front pocket ripped open because it was so full. I bought this bag because it looked huge in the pictures and offered several roomy pockets for storage of different things and a special padded pocket for the laptops that the kids must carry now and the ability to keep a power bank inside the bag and you can plug your phone or laptop into the special port on the outside of the bag to charge them by the USB side of the cord I thought that was an awesome feature as well and the price was super reasonable. They also advertised it as a large bag that was perfect for traveling and you could fit your devices and lots of clothing or whatever you needed to bring or to use as a large carry on. So I thought surely this bag will be big enough for all of his things this year, when I received this bag, to say I was disappointed was an understatement! It was not as big as it was made to seem in the pictures, yes it has all of the pockets and features I mentioned above but the main compartment where most of the text books would go would fit maybe 3 large textbooks and maybe 2 notebooks and a pencil pouch and that’s being generous but then the laptop pocket is also in that same compartment so it would be hard to fit that in there too unless it’s a very slim laptop, but also if you want to use the power bank charging option the power bank goes in that compartment too so it would be very hard to fit all of that in there if it would even be possible. The laptop compartment is padded well which is a plus and the outside of the bag where the straps are is also padded well so the books won’t be digging into your back which is good. It has 2 pockets on the front that are for your phone or calculator that have a fabric inside to protect them I guess but they aren’t very big. So Usually, larger backpacks have 3 compartments the back larger compartment, the middle medium compartment, and the front has a small half size compartment for like pens, pencils, erasers, highlighters, calculators and such, and then a smaller zipper pocket for your phone and keys. This does not have all of those pockets it does not hand the 3rd smaller compartment just the 2 small fabric lined zippered pockets for your phone, calculator or keys. This may be good as an overnight bag for sleepovers or something, or if you have a pet to pack all of their things to go to the dog park or something I don’t know. But hopefully this helps someone else because the reviews I read were all great and talked about how large and spacious it was and all the pockets and compartments for different things so after reading the reviews I bought it thinking yes I don’t have to go to tons of stores and pay $100+ for a good large backpack, but it looks like I’ll be doing that anyways! Very disappointed. I may give this bag to my daughter who’s in elementary school so she can bring her favorite toys and things she likes to put in her bag to play with on the bus and at recess. This would be good for a grade schooler or someone that doesn’t carry lots of textbooks and lots of normal everyday schools supplies for each individual class and a laptop as wel.

I love this backpack, it really does have a large capacity. I use it for work, instead of travel, but I can tell this backpack would be great for a weekend or 3 day stay. I love the special features that it offers when you plug a battery to it. The separate laptop compartment is perfect for any slim device that's 15in and smaller. The only problem that I have, is that the USB cable doesn't tell you if it's USB 2.0 or more. But if I had to guess, I'm assuming that it is 2.0.
