Nice lightweight back pack with lots of zippered pockets. The size is good and will accommodate a 17 inch laptop. There are plenty of pockets inside and out, and the side pockets are flexible heavy mesh to accommodate various sizes of beverage bottles. The smaller outsides pocket has places for pens, pencils, and other supplies. The zippers all work smoothly, but there are no locks to secure the zippers or bag. The straps are adequately padded and adjustable. The fabric is water resistant but probably not the best in a heavy downpour. Overall, It's a decent bag for use but does not lock.

This black laptop bag is suitable for use as a simple, small backpack for school use or trail hiking. It comes equipped with a USB cable that you can attach to a power bank or backup battery. I did exactly that. Now all I have to do is snap in my phone to the connection on the exterior of the bag and I can charge my phone or anything that charges with a USB connection. There is a sleeve inside where you can slip your laptop in. I have a 15.9 inch HP laptop that fits perfectly. Then they also have a velcro strap you can use to secure the laptop so it doesn't jostle around or move. I have been using it a couple of times a week and it works great. There are plenty of exterior and interior zipper pockets for storage and the back straps are easily adjustable.

I was looking for a backpack that I could use as a day-pack (rather than personal item to carry on a plane or lug around like luggage). Most other lightweight backpacks are really thin and "cheap" feeling. This backpack is like an in-between of those super-thin day packs and more substantial backpacks that you might use like luggage. While it doesn't fold down or squish up as small as a thin bag, it folds to very flat (much flatter than a more substantial pack could do). It is also light. However, it has plenty of pockets. The material, straps, handle, and zippers all feel strong and substantial. It is comfortable to wear. So, what I lost in how compact it can get to stow away, it more than made up for by feeling like a daypack I can have confidence in. I'm very pleased with this.

This backpack would be good for light loads and possibly suitable for a medium load. The material and the zippers it's made of are more heavy duty than some of the other light weight backpacks I've seen. That is definitely a plus. There are plenty of pockets you can stuff if you like. The pocket configurations are all good and there is an internal pocket in the largest compartment that would be suitable for a water bladder. However, there is no built in hole to run the bladder's hose through. I do find that there isn't enough padding in the straps and that's why I feel the pack is better suited for light loads. I think the value for the money at the $22.99 price point is OK, but could be better.
