I've been doing the level 1 exercises for the past 10 days. I can't believe how well they work. I used to get out of bed in the middle of the night because I was in such pain. I ordered this online after hearing the story I was so hopeful it would help me as I have suffered from sciatica for years. It arrived with the DVD tucked inside a pamphlet with a bag of other orders no protective box, I was surprised it was not broken. It was all info. I really love this DVD especially for 3 great routines I can do right at home. I’ve done many different types of exercises & classes, yoga classes, physical therapy, etc. & I’m still impressed with this. The 3 stretching routines are perfect and I’ve felt better every time I’ve done it. What I like as well is Emily has a nice vibe, relaxing voice & the video is done very professionally. The ambient lighting, the soothing music and she’s very fit & attractive too. I definitely recommend this DVD & feel it’s well worth it especially in comparison with how much it costs to a few drop-ins at any yoga studio. ... show more

    • Emily Lark definitely knows her craft.
Workouts are phenomenal and progress from beginners to intermediate to advance beautifully. However, Emily Lark speaks too fast and does not enunciate clearly. Therefore you have to continually watch the video which is annoying with the floor work! I'm an "ex" personal trainer and all natural bodybuilder so feel I have some credence in what I'm saying. Also felt slightly overpriced, as I was under the impression that there was two separate books i.e. a manual and check list! The dvd sleeve contains a few pages and that's it. ... show more

    • ANOTHER FORM OF YOGA, OVER PRICED
I disliked the fact that this was suppose to be some great exercise that would give you great relief in a very short time. It is yoga represented in a way to make you think it has greater benefits. It does not incorporate alternate examples of the exercises shown. It is not for those who cannot get on the floor. And like with yoga (which is priced at a lower rate), if you do it, you will get better. But you have to do it at least 3x a week. Check out Yoga Vitality (Chair yoga for healthy aging). Its a great video for those who wants to do the exercises but can't get on the floor. I already have Yoga Vitality and others. I just have to use it. Key words "use it". I have been suffering with a pinched sciatic nerve for nearly 4 months before I came across Emily's story and work book. I hated getting out of bed and often walked bent over to ease the pain as much as possible. The core strengthening work has been super. It took time to get to the point of such serious pain and it is taking time to recover because a back operation is out of the question.
