It's easy for you to switch between several front and back babywearing positions. You can use Baby Carrier One Air to carry your child from birth and up to approx. the age of three. I bought this 3 months ago for my then 3 month old. I hate to say it, but I was in no state to mess around with what I perceived to be complex instructions, and I let it sit in a corner for a month. Once I was feeling a bit more up to it (ahem, more rested), I put it together and now find it super simple to use and easy to get on quickly. I use it all the time with my now 6 month old. It is super convenient to pop her into it for a quick grocery visit, a walk, a visit to a place with lots of extended family (it keeps them from asking to hold her), and in crowded public areas when a stroller is not an easy option. I wish that I had it the first 3 months of her life, as it is far more comfortable than the sling wrapped I used then, and it holds her head well. The only commentary I have is to make sure that you have someone else put it together and then show you how to use it if you are still feeling overwhelmed with early motherhood. I had a BabyBjorn Mini when our little one was born and I LOVED it. When she outgrew it I bought a LILLEBaby Complete carrier, trying to save a little money as this carrier can be quite a bit more expensive than the LILLEBaby. Mistake! Oh, how I regretted it. I have friends who love their LILLEBaby carrier but it just wasn’t for me. I returned the LILLEBaby and got this instead. Oh The LILLEBaby has actual two part buckles and narrow straps—I found it difficult to loosen/tighten on my own. But with the Babybjorn the wide cloth straps and slide-in buckles were soooooo easy—and can be adjusted with one hand! It was intuitive to start using unlike the other carrier. Within a day I could confidently get my 7 month old into the back carry position. I also love the feature where it has loops to tuck the extra length of strap out of the way so nothing is dangling. It’s supportive, comfortable and my little one loves being in it. We use it daily for hikes, house chores, and grocery runs. I am such a fan of Babybjorn! ... show more

This is obviously a very well built and high quality carrier. Unfortunately, unless you're dealing with a possibly not actually alive infant, good luck getting them into it under pressure, like when you're already running late and they're resisting arrest. Too many straps, buckles and clips for my little she-demon. We also use a carrier to put her to sleep, and with 4 separate clips and straps, getting her out without releasing the Kraken is nearly impossible. ... show more

The vented panels are perfect for summertime and for the warm weather we have all year in Florida. One small complaint- a small child facing forward will have the panel covering part of the face.
