  • An Easy to Use Carrier that is Comfortable for Adult and Child
I love this baby carrier when I first bought this in March of 2019, I mainly used it for trips to Walmart and hikes with my friend now that he can sit up on his own in the basket seat I just use it for the hikes or when we’re going places where the stroller is inconvenient. I was getting so frustrated with having to deal with the bulky car seat taking up a ton of space in my cart and my son wasn’t to the point where he could sit upright in the seat so I started looking into baby carriers. I had put the idea off for a while originally because as a preemie my son was too small for the majority of carriers that I had been considering but when he finally hit the recommended weight I was all in. Pros: Comfortable This carrier is very comfortable to wear, the straps don’t dig into your shoulders or your hips and thanks to the lumbar support the weight of your baby doesn’t put strain on your back. While my son isn’t old enough to tell me verbally whether he finds it comfortable or not he never cries or throws a fit when I put him in it and has fallen asleep while in it on several occasions and also thrown a fit when I’ve taken him out of it so to me that implies that he is comfortable and happy with this carrier as well. It also keeps the weight very well balanced, on the occasions where I had to squat down to get something off of a lower shelf I never felt like I was being dragged forward by the weight because he was pretty snuggly against me. Lumbar Support As I mentioned above this carrier has lumbar support which helps keep your back from aching while walking around for extended periods of time with an infant or child strapped to you. Anything that helps keep my back from hurting is a big plus in my book. Versatile and Easy to Use This carrier is east to use you simply buckle it around your waist pick up your child and place them against your chest and then while holding your child securely against you with one hand you put your other arm through the shoulder strap, switch hands and do the same with the other shoulder strap and then reach back and buckle the two shoulder straps together. No infant insert is required for this carrier and it is rated for 7-45lbs however personally when my son was smaller I tended to roll up a receiving blanket and place it under his butt to raise him up a little so he could see out a bit but that was just a personal preference. It's also easy to transition it to the narrow seat for forward facing. You simply place your LÍLLÉbaby on the ground with the outside facing up remove the lumbar support, then unsnap the waistband from the two loops holding it and then withdraw the waist belt from the two loops. Once you have done that flip your carrier over and take those two loops and fold them over each other, you will see a snap that fastens them together and narrows the seat. Flip your carrier back over reattach the lumbar support and you're good to go. If you’re like me you are probably intimidated by the idea of trying to get your little one (who can support their head) into the backpack carrier position but once again it’s very easily accomplished with this carrier. Simply belt the carrier around your waist with the carrier on one side of you. Pick up your little one and place them on your hip (whichever side the carrier is on). Then lift the carrier up to cover your little one’s back and slip the opposite arm into the shoulder strap. After your arm is secure shift your little one and the carrier around until they are behind you and slip your other arm into the shoulder strap and fasten the chest clip. You can loosen the shoulder straps initially if it helps you to get your arms in and then tighten them once you your little one is in place. It’s an All-Weather Carrier There is a flap that can be zipped shut if it’s cold out to help insulate your child against cold weather or unzipped to allow for cooling during hot summer months and the mesh lining makes it very breathable allowing for greater cooling. There’s also a little lightweight hood that you can snap on to help keep the sun off of your baby’s head during the summer. Six Positions There are six different ways that you can wear this carrier depending on the age of your child. From 0-3 months you can carry them facing inward with their feet inside the carrier in a fetal position. You also have the option to carry them inward facing with their legs out. While they are unable to support their head this carrier has a head support that can be used to keep your support your infants head. Once your baby is able to support his or her head you can lower the head support and carry them facing either inward or outward so that they can see the world going by. This carrier is also designed so that you can carry your little one in front of you or on your hip or your back easily and comfortably. Machine Washable If you’re the type of person who likes to go on hikes or spends long hot days at outdoor events, then you know the importance of being able to just throw something in the wash and be done with it. Cons Back Strap/Chest Strap a Bit of a Chore The Back strap/Chest strap that connects the two shoulder straps together can be a bit of a chore to connect while it is behind you when you’re carrying your little one in front of you and I could see this strap causing issues for people who’s shoulders aren’t as flexible. While it is a great safety feature because it keeps the shoulder straps from falling off it can be a chore to connect it. Mesh Interior is a Little Rough The mesh interior while providing breathability that keeps your little one cool during hot days is a little on the rougher side and while I’ve carried my son in it without pants on without complaint an infant with more sensitive skin than him might not be as comfortable without the protection of clothes. Dangling Straps I have a petite frame so I keep the straps on the shortest settings possible and the extra length just dangles down and can get caught on things. It would have been nice if there was a way to fasten the excess length up and out of the way. In Conclusion Overall, I really enjoy using this carrier it’s very easy to use in its various positions and it’s comfortable for me and my son. It seems to be a very well made and sturdy carrier that will hopefully last me for several more years to come and I would definitely purchase it again and I highly recommend it. ... show more

I'd give this 10 stars if I could! It has become my essential baby item. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have this. My son is a absolute Velcro baby and I can't do anything without him wanting to be near me and oftentimes on me. I have other carriers and this one is my absolute favorite. Other carriers started getting uncomfortable when he got to about 15 lbs. And when he was big enough for back carry I was so happy!! It allows me to get more things done hands free and he's happy on my back. The little hood is also awesome. Doesn't completely protect against the sun, but I put a bucket hat on him under the hood and it keeps his hat from flying off. I use it for back carry as well since he prevents him to trying to lean his head back too far. And it works well for giving him some shade when he wants to take a nap while I'm at the grocery store and it's really bright. I just love this thing so much. Can't recommend more!! ... show more

  • Lillebaby All Seasons vs. Pognae…
I have tried multiple baby carriers/wraps and like most of them for different reasons. Although it is impossible to avoid body heat while wearing baby, I have been looking for a breathable carrier that might be more comfortable in warm weather. There are a couple of carriers with mesh panels to keep baby cool (Lillebaby Airflow and Ergo Performance, for example) but for the most versatility I wanted one that had a zip-open mesh panel to allow for opening or closing the panel depending on the weather. There are only 2 such carriers (that I know of)… the Pognae and the Lillebaby All Seasons. I could not find any direct comparison of the two when I was deciding which to buy, but since I ended up trying both I thought I should spell out the differences between them for anyone else making the same choice. 1. COST: Pognae costs ~$90-100 (depending on design) vs. ~$140 for the comparable Lillebaby All Seasons. Win: Pognae. 2. MAIN MATERIAL: Both carriers are 100% cotton. The Pognae material is not as soft (feels more like starchy cotton canvas) while the Lillebaby material is softer. The Lillebaby material is a lint magnet though. Win: slight preference to Lillebaby. 3. MESH PANEL: The Pognae mesh panel is made of a nice, soft mesh in a single layer. This allows for great airflow when open, and also allows me to rub my baby’s back through it when he gets fussy. The Lillebaby mesh is a bit rougher and the zip-open panel has a double layer of mesh, which is not quite as breathable as the Pognae. Win: Pognae. 4. HEAD SUPPORT: In the Pognae, my 3.5-month old’s head barely came above the top of the carrier (about 1-2 inches) giving him good head support but not much ability to look around. In the Lillebaby, the top of the carrier comes to the nape of his neck giving just a bit of head support and allowing him to look around easily. Both carriers also come with supplemental head support: the Pognae comes with a head-support panel that is a separate piece that velcros onto the shoulder straps and adds another ~2 inches of head support. There is no way to store it on the carrier when not in use. The Lillebaby has an additional ~4 inches of head support that folds down and snaps in place when not in use. With this panel elevated, it gives great head support. It also has cinching cords on both sides if you want to bring the head support in around baby’s head while sleeping, for example. Win: Lillebaby. 5. SUN HOOD: Both carriers have similar sun hoods which extend from the carrier over the baby’s head and buckle to the shoulder straps. The Pognae has a small pocket that stores/conceals the sun hood when not in use. On the Lillebaby, the sun hood can be rolled up and stored under the flap of the head support when it is folded down. Unfortunately this means the head support must be up in order to use the sun hood; and when the head support is “up” and the sun hood is NOT in use, it is no longer concealed and the roll kind of hangs on the outside of the carrier. On the Lillebaby the sun hood is removable, so if not used often it can be detached and you can avoid having to deal with it. Win: Pognae. 6. SEAT: Both carriers have wide seats that support baby knee-to-knee. The Lillebaby also has a “narrow” seat option for smaller babies. In the Pognae, my 3.5-month old seemed comfortable enough, but his legs were definitely spread very widely. In the Lillebaby, the narrow option is wide enough to keep his knees in the “M” position without him doing the splits, and when he gets a little bigger we can go back to the wide seat. Win: Lillebaby. 7. STORAGE: The Lillebaby has one cargo pocket on the front, which is only accessible if the zip-down flap is closed (i.e. in the “cool-weather” position). The Pognae does not have any cargo pockets. Win: Lillebaby. 8. VERSATILITY: The Lillebaby advertises 6 possible carrying positions (front-carry small baby/larger baby/toddler, outward-facing, hip carry, back carry). It can support a newborn without an extra insert and comes with a little newborn strap for extra support if needed (can be removed if not needed). It has stirrups that can be purchased separately for back-carrying a toddler, if desired. The Pognae does not have outward-facing or hip carry options (which you may or may not want). It can support babies starting at 12 lbs but requires an insert for newborns. Win: Lillebaby. 9. HIP STRAP: Both have similar hip straps with elastic bands for extra buckle security. The Lillebaby comes with a lumbar support pad, which I guess is nice if the strap is across your lower back. Since I carry the hip strap low across my hips for comfort, the lumbar pad doesn't really do anything for me. Still, nice to have. Win: slight preference to Lillebaby. 10. SHOULDER STRAPS: The design of the shoulder straps is similar, but there are a couple of key differences. The Lillebaby straps can detach and be crossed, giving the option for parallel or crossed-strap positions in front-carry positions. I haven’t tried the crossed straps yet but know this is much more comfortable for many people. The Lillebaby straps are also longer, which is the KEY difference between them that ultimately led me to choose the Lillebaby. At 5’9” the Pognae straps were just too short on me. When carrying baby on my front, the straps came up over my shoulders and ended just behind my shoulders, leaving the adjustment buckles just below my armpits and making me roll my shoulders forward to avoid extra pressure on my arms. After carrying it for a while, I just felt a lot of discomfort in my upper back. I had seen conflicting reviews on the size of this carrier from other reviewers, but had given it a shot after reading that some people >6ft tall had worn it successfully. Unfortunately, it did not work for my frame. Win (for my frame): Lillebaby. In the end, I returned the Pognae and ordered the Lillebaby All Seasons. The deciding factor was simply my own comfort wearing the Lillebaby on my tall frame. I could definitely see someone more petite being happier with the Pognae, however, and in the end there are still some features of each that I wish I could combine into the “perfect” carrier. ... show more

This is the best baby carrier I have found. I tried a Moby and an Infantino and they both cause my back to ache. I couldn't move for a whole evening with one of them and then decided to purchase this one. It is so heavy duty, but also light weight at the same time. It breathes and my daughter does not get hot and also stays warm in the winter. This is the only carrier that she doesn't cry in and is comfortable in. When she was a newborn I highly recommend watching the video recommendation for it and us a small rolled blanket to support your childs hips and for their comfort. It really is an amazing carrier. It supports my back with a huge back cushion that doesn't add extra weight. It feels like a natural way to hold your baby. I love it so much and could go on and on about how comfortable it is and easy to use. You do have to learn a bit about how to put it on yourself but there are so many videos out there to help you put it on correctly! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ... show more

  • I love the mesh and shade for the head!
Color: Stone Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This is our second kid, we hike with kids and previously we had Babybjorn, Slings, baby Ktan and ergo baby 360. Wanted something with mesh for the summer, got Babybjorn forts and somehow it just didn't fit at all and had a mesh that separated the baby from you. Def cooler but defeats the purpose of babywearing. Lille baby was a fav of our hiking group, so decided to return Babybjorn and try it. Oh God, how nice !!! It was fitting easily and nicely with an M shape for both me and my hubby and its even easy to switch between us. Ergo baby was close to this but somehow ergo baby has really rough edges around where the babys hands will be, there was always a stuck hand end the end for us. ( Ok if you carry them for 30min but beyond it would hurt the baby) As added bonus, it has a sun cover, so no need to get babys hat with you ! Also some additional back support is lovely, not much but that back is always sore so some help is good. ... show more

Love this carrier more than I thought I would! I have a friend who had used this baby carrier and had great things to say about it, but I hadn’t wanted to spend the money so I purchased a wrap style instead - my baby hated it. I was desperate to be hands free, so made the decision to purchase this one as well and it has been night and day!! Baby is well supported but a little more free to move her arms around and I think she doesn’t feel as confined as she was in the wrap. I have worn her around the house several times now and managed to get her to fall asleep each time and then successfully remove her/put her down for a nap!! So I’ve gotta say I’m pretty thrilled with these results. Pros: Love the color, material/construction is very good quality, very adjustable/will be useful carrier for a long time, lumbar support is nice, baby loves it Cons: Instruction manual is a bit minimal/took some time to figure out how to adjust everything, can be a bit hard to hold baby and get them in/out of the carrier by yourself, the extra flap/head support seems too restrictive and blocks baby’s view ... show more

  • Discreet Breastfeeding & Fits Plus Size!
Like most of you I did a bunch of online research, watched a lot of YouTube videos and talked to friends before I bought this and it paid off. This is hands down the best baby purchase I've made! I had a boba wrap, which was great, but hard to breastfeed in and both of us would get so hot when I wore her. So I purchased this for a zoo trip when my daughter was 3 months old and it was perfect. I wore her all day, nursing on the go and no one could tell. In fact someone stopped to ask me where I bought it, while I was nursing and she had no idea. Best of all my back didn't hurt at all (go lumbar support)! Pros: - Fits plus size women. I'm a 2x and the waist strap still has room to loosen without me having a muffin top. - You can't tell when I'm nursing my baby in it. I just loosen the sides and put the head strap and maybe the sun shade up and no one can see a thing. - We didn't get hot at all! I'm in New England, so it's not like it's crazy hot, but it gets hot and humid enough for me without wearing a baby. My friends said there was nothing you could do, that all carriers make you hot and sweaty while wearing your baby, but with the panel open we were just fine. - Lumbar Support! I can and have worn her for hours in this without any back pain. Seriously, the envious looks I got from women in other carriers oh boy when I couldn't relate to back pain oh boy. - Best of all we are both was comfy no matter how long I wear her in it and I can easily keep up with my older two without missing out on bonding with my littlest. Cons: - Sandstone color, just don't if you have dirt in your life. At the time I bought it, I needed it and couldn't wait for other colors to come in, so I just bought that light tan color. It shows every smudge and dog hair on it. - Now this one is partially my fault as I leave it on the floor of my van to keep it from getting dog hair and other dirt on it from being in my house and getting tossed around. I think it was stepped on by a football cleat and there is a tear on the inside by her head. Now I know that it shouldn't be on the floor, but if it was the regular fabric it wouldn't have torn, so it's not as durable as the regular fabric. - It's not very soft. Now it's not scratchy or uncomfortable, but because of the fabric it needs to be to be breathable it's not as soft as the material on their regular carrier. - Lastly (this is a minor thing for me) the sun shade has no place to go if the front panel is zipped down and just hangs. I think it looks silly and they should make a way for it to roll up and snap, but like I said it hasn't bothered us. That being said after 9 months of rigorous use I still love it and I would definitely purchase this again. Although I would probably recommend purchasing the regular version unless you live in a very hot climate or you and your baby tend to run really hot. I promise you won't be disappointed. ... show more

  • Lumber support, front flap, sun shade, and zippable front panel are some awesome features on this all around great carrier
Color: Charcoal/Silver Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I have carried my daughter since she was born, so I own several carriers including Ergo Original, BityBean, Baby K'Tan, and this other one from Korea that has an actual built-in seat that my baby can sit in. The thing about carriers is that sometimes you need different ones depending on what stage your child is in and what you are doing while carrying your baby. Even though I have several carriers, I purchased the lillebaby because my daughter is now 15 months and she is heavier and longer, and the ones I had didn't really rise to the challenge as well (except for the BityBean, which I love to keep in my car if I need it in a pinch because it's super portable and comfortable enough for shorter periods). I had debated between this carrier or the Tula, but I really like the fact that lillebaby had a lumbar support and the flap on the front that you can raise up, which has come in handy whenever I back carry my girl and she falls asleep because her head isn't flopping backwards since the flap creates a taller "panel" that supports her head. With other carriers, I would have to sort of hunch over to keep her head on my back, so I wasn't able to get much done while wearing her (which sort of defeats the purpose for me, since I like to still do things while wearing my baby). Also, the sun shade cover is very roomy, so it's been awesome for covering her completely but not so that it's laying tightly over her head (the feel of the material against her head will usually make her fidget and then finally wake her up when she's napping in a carrier). Having a looser, roomier sun shade also helps keep her cooler because I can sort of make a tent so some air can circulate around her head. The lumbar support is definitely helpful since she's 20+ pounds now. I wore her in the front and walked continuously for about 30-40 minutes and my back definitely felt better than with any of the other carriers that I own (expect for maybe the BityBean - no idea why, since that's the least structured of all my carriers, with less padding and what-nots, and yet it has given me some of the best support). The carrier's panel also feels wider and roomier than the Ergo Original, and the feel of the material is softer too. I also like the fact that on this model, I can unzip the front panel so that she can stay cooler. The only thing that I can think of that may be a con is that the front-facing carry is somewhat awkward. She seems a bit uncomfortable, and it makes me uncomfortable too. Maybe I'm not doing it right, but I felt like her legs were spread way to far out. But at this age and weight, front-facing is not the most comfortable position for me to carry her anyway, so the fact that I can't really hold her in this position in the lillebaby is not a big deal for me. Overall, definitely recommend this carrier, especially if you are considering a Tula but feel like their price is unreasonable - I think this carrier can definitely work for a lot of folks, even those with heavier and older babies/toddlers. ... show more

I love the color (I got moonbeam) and all the functions of this carrier. I was confused and disappointed when I realized I did not receive the lumbar support piece. Color: Twilight Leopard Size: Adjustable, one size
Overall this is a solid, supportive carrier. It supports my two month old well and our adult shoulders and lower back as well. My husband wears a 46 Long suit and can fit this just fine. We like that it has several options for carrying our girl. What I do not like is that you need go fasten the bottom around your waist, then place the baby, then support the baby while pulling the shoulders up and then fasten it with both hands… like you need to let go of the baby in or to do this. So far this feels like a two person job which defeats the purpose of the carrier. I am sure with time and practice, we will be more adept at doing this. I would prefer if it could be secured completely to me then had a separate flap to open and secure the baby in. ... show more

  • Look no further- this carrier is it!
Color: Stone Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This is the best carrier ever!! This was the 4th carrier I have tried ( Bjorn, Infantino, Ergo) and finally- one that is perfect!! Someone posted this in a facebook group I am in and I bought one the next day. It is seriously the best designed, most functional carrier I have seen. Here are my favorites about it: 1. It is complete and no extra parts like an uncomfortable insert are needed like with the Ergo. 2. 6 different positions is amazing- from baby to big is wonderful. The Original Ergo doesn't allow for forward facing- this does and is great. The infantino does, but is horrible on comfort. 3. It is breathable- and the option to make it more breathable with the front panel unzipped is great. I live in Georgia so humidity and heat were a big concern. This is not a sweat box like the ergo. 4. The lumbar pad is such a great added piece- it truly helped my back from my messed up epidural. Not any other carrier I went through had this nice padded piece. It really absorbs the weight. I really think all of the padding is much better than any of the others I have tried. It is truly comfortable to wear. 5. The re-positional seat is great to adjust for baby- no other carrier I had does this. 6. It is incredibly easy to put on. In just a few clicks I can have baby in and be ready to go- facing in or out are both comfortable. 7. It is very user friendly for first time moms. I like that I can wear it back pack straps or regular, how I can easily adjust the baby from front to inward facing while wearing baby, and it is really comfortable. My baby loves this carrier! He falls asleep in it all the time. 8. This carrier is lightweight and gets the job done. 9. The colors are great and not overbearing 10. The hood is Great! Love to use it to keep baby asleep 11. 6 positions- including newborn- comfortable for mom/or dad and baby, stylish- and designed with the wearer in mind- completely and perfectly worth every penny! The only con I would say is that it advertises that you can breastfeed in it- but this complete seasons doesn't have much/any side boob coverage. I dont mind that because everything else- as far as comfort and versatility trump that minor detail. Trust me when I say- buy this carrier and not any other. You will not be disappointed. ... show more
