The only thing I would strongly recommend is to add a mattress. The mat that comes with it is very thin and quite firm, not ideal for sleeping or long naps. But with a proper pack and play mattress, it becomes super comfortable and works perfectly. Overall, this has been a great purchase — good price, great look, and reliable quality. I love the changing table part of the pack and play. I wish the straps were removable because I don’t yet need it for my newborn and they get in the way a lot but I’m sure I’ll appreciate them as she gets older. It is a little low and hard on the back when changing the baby though. It’s stable and was easy to put together. We don’t plan on moving this much so I can’t speak on the portability too much but it’s cute and a nice size. I think we’ll get a lot of use out of it for what we paid. ... show more

So I love this pack and play. Two ultrasound techs told me I was having a girl, and I ended up having a boy. I am so glad that I chose this neutral one and not something super girly. The reasons I am giving this a 4 star and not a five star rating is because it was sort of difficult to put together, and the baby changing station kind of leans to one side and my newborn rolls over into the corner. My baby was nine lbs at birth, but now that he's put on a little weight, the weight of him on the thing weighs it down enough so that it is even and he doesn't get rolled over as often. Even though it was sort of difficult to put together, I was able to do it by myself at 40 weeks pregnant. The instructions tell you to put the mat down at the bottom first before it tells you to put it up on the bassinet portion, so I had to take that part out after struggling to get it on the bottom for ten minutes before putting it back up on the back up on the top part. The little vibrate/sound/night light part on it also has to go where the little cover part with the giraffes are hanging, because you cannot put the baby changing station down with it on the other side. That makes the night light part pretty much useless, but it is easy to clip on and off, so moving it to the other side is not too much of a hassle unless you have your baby in your arms in need of changing. **Edit: I am just now realizing by looking at the pictures here on amazon that I can just pull the cover with the giraffes over the nightlight and use it that way without having to move it.** Other than those three or four issues, I have no problem with it.
