This is the best car seat I have found. I bought the blue one for my grandson a couple years ago, I loved it so much that I just got the pink one for my granddaughter. After trying a few carseats and returning them I got this one for the canopy feature. It's one of a kind. It is hard to install but so we're all the other ones I tried and returned. Car seats just suck to install. There is no way around it. I feel it is very safe and sturdy. It has more recline positions than the others in the same price range which is perfect for my car cause it has the seats that tilt back so stuff don't fall out but it makes rear facing baby seats lean forward more and this one is the only one I could get to recline back far enough. Which is why I returned the others. It does have large sides around the head but that is what makes it feel safer in a side impact crash. It's there to protect there little melons. It feels cushioned enough. My grandson has never complained about being in it. My granddaughter has not been in it yet. It just came. The straps are easy to adjust. I can't comment on the infant or premie adjustments as they used the portable infant seats until they out grew them. So we started using the big kid seats after that. If they get twisted you can easily see that and they are so much easier to fix than a reg car seat belt. It has been easy to clean so far. You spot clean it with a wet rag. I mean I'm not too worried about it anyways, it's not like you can sell these things after. They have expiration dates and most people know not to buy used carseats anymore. They are not safe as you can't trust that they haven't been in a car accident. The shoulder pads that come on it got some nonslip stuff on the back that seems to bother his neck. That is the only con I have found with this car seat. It has all the bells and whistles of a more expensive seat but for an affordable price. I would highly recommend this seat. The sun cover is by far my favorite feature. It comes off if you need it too. But it gets used too much for it to come off. perfect car seat for my 1 year old . Reclining and adjusting features are nice and easy to use/locate . she fits perfect in it, she is 32” tall & 25lbs . It is pretty large in comparison to the other car seats I have seen but that doesn’t bother me .

The cadillac of car seats. My baby is comfortable, sleeps well in the seat and it is very versatile. Beautiful color and easy to install whether rear or forward facing. I got her the pink one. Best feature is the shade, keeps her cool and the sun out of her face.

I’ve been a fan of BabyTrend for 20 years now. My newest seat is no exception. Love the pink highlights, cushion in all the right spots, and easy adjustments all around. Even with tinted windows the sun always finds a way to be in the wrong spot. The canopy fixes that issue.

We have a 1/2 cabin truck and it has been so hard to find a good seat for my toddler. When she was born we bought her a Graco 4ever dlx only to realize it was too big for a small car. We have tried numerous ways to accommodate Graco carseat but always seem impossible. I came across this carseat and honestly only bought it for the hood and in hope it would fit. Tried to rely on reviews but only saw many for infant rear facing mode. So here is a review for a toddler front facing. Now she is riding so confortable in this new carseat.     • Good carseat but small and difficult to reinstall.
We have two cars but one car seat for my 1-year-old. Pros The fabric is soft and stain resistant. It has two nice cupholders, and the canopy is a fantastic feature. It hugs my baby in all the right places and I don't feel like we'll need to purchase another car seat again anytime soon! Cons It is incredibly difficult to take from one car and reinstall in another as a rear-facing infant car seat. The place where the seat belt goes is difficult to get through. I would definitely recommend this if you are planning on leaving it in one car! If not, I'd either buy a second or get a different car seat. ... show more

    • Best car seat we’ve ever purchased
This car seat was easy to install with the built in bubble level and lower anchors. I especially appreciate that the shade is able to move by the foot area for when the sun is hitting my baby’s face. She does prefer this car seat over another brand that we have that clicks into her stroller. She seems so comfortable in this one and tends to fall asleep vs crying in the other one.
