My daughter received this “Shusher” as a shower gift for our new granddaughter and she uses it in her crib every day. They were here for a visit and had brought it with them but forgot it when they left (they live 3 hrs away). We have slowly been purchasing various items to have here so that they don’t have to haul everything back and forth on each visit (porta crib, video baby monitor, activity seat, plates, cups, toys, etc.) but we didn’t yet have a “shusher” … now we do. As soon as I realized they had forgotten theirs at our house I went online to Amazon immediately and ordered one to to be delivered the next morning to their home. We had our granddaughter for 9 days while my daughter and husband went on their honeymoon and I discovered then what a lifesaver (sleep aid) this was so I knew they HAD TO theirs replaced ASAP. UPDATE: Customer service reached out to me immediately and resolved the issue I had. Probably one of the best customer service experiences I've had with a company. Thank you guys for paying attention to the customers needs and addressing them so promptly. Three. I have now purchased three of these within the last four months. The only reason I have purchased three times is my son loves the sound. But of course these break right after you can no longer return on Amazon. For the price, it should 1000% last longer than a month of use. It's insane. Changing the batteries does nothing. Device starts to sound choppy and distorted for a while and then stops entirely. ... show more

So I will start off with this thing is wonderful, it works, it keeps our baby asleep when she goes down. We did have to get a replacement, the first one stopped working properly but the second one has held up so far. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is I feel like this device could be more sturdy/perhaps be cased in silicon or some other design change that would make it less fragile. We’ve had to open it up and tighten/adjust things after falling off the bed or couch, not a crazy height. So I just wish it was more drop-proof. ... show more

I have a 3 month old baby who fights naps like a gladiator. Pair that with first time clueless parents and nap time was quite the event at our household. I bought every sleep sack and gimmick I could find. None of them worked until I came across the shusher! Today is the first day using it and I put my baby in her crib for her first nap and she fell asleep after 2 minutes of crying. I thought this was a unicorn moment but I am writing this review as she sleeps in her crib beside me. It took me 1 minute! That’s right-1 minute!!! I want to cry happy tears. I am buying a shusher for day care and another to have as backup just in case something happens to this gem of a device. If you have a terrible napper, buy the shusher! My only complaint is there isn’t an option to keep it shushing. My baby wakes up as soon as the 30 min timer runs out so I have to quickly turn it back on or nap time is over. ... show more

Parents, trust me… Buy this product. The first couple months can be exhausting. Up every few hours all day and night. Impossible to get them back down. This device is absolute magic. I swear there is a little battery powered wizard elf inside of it giving of the most perfectly toned shushing sound that puts my child to sleep almost immediately, every time. I don’t know what black magic devil the inventor sold his soul to, but it works. And it works soooo well. You will regain your sanity, your sleep, and be ever so glad you bought it. Absolute life saver for us!!! Shushing the baby back to sleep or calming her down always works for us, but it's exhausting and makes me light headed after a few minutes. This shusher was recommended to us by a co-worker and has worked so well at night. The two timers (15 min & 30 min) are perfect length to help calm baby back to sleep. My only wish is that the battery was rechargeable. You have to carry a tiny screw driver around with you when you travel just in case the batteries die. They can only be accessed by unscrewing the top, which isn't very convenient. ... show more

Our 6 week old wakes up almost hourly and we have tried EVERYTHING to solve this problem and nothing works. From white noise, wedges, pacifiers, baths before bed, swaddles, sleep sack, etc. I saw this product and thought I’d give it a shot. She cried, then we fed her and changed her, laid her down, and turned on the machine. I remember thinking this product was loud and obnoxious and I was thinking how long does this…….😴😴😴. It knocked me out! Not only did my child sleep the next four hours, then four hours after the next feeding, but I slept 8 hours! This think is coming with me on business trips for hotels! I really like the shusher and use it all the time, my baby loves it. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the first one I ordered came messed up and the same thing happened with my sister. I returned it and got a new one and the new one works great though!
