I love the look of this chair and the size. The color and material are great and I love that it's washable. The only thing that was disappointing was how little movement it has. Even when in the "rock" position, it barely moves. My grandson loves to bounce and while they were visiting, the seat was great for putting him somewhere secure for a few minutes or feeding him in it, but he likes to kick his legs and bounce and this did not do that. If you are looking for a pretty stable seat with minimal movement, then this is the one. It's definitely well made.

Absolutely not for newborns…there is zero neck/head support, and the straps don’t tighten enough to hold our little one in securely. The shoulder strap covers also don’t come off unless you want to cut them off so you can’t adjust the shoulder straps all the way, and they are way too high for a newborn (they sit above her head). When we sat her in it she was squished down at a funny angle because of where the seat is in conjunction to the harness. Our baby was also considered very long for a newborn, so I wouldn’t recommend this for tiny babies at all, maybe 3 months+.
