This is our third stroller, kind of a size/weight option in between our Babyzen YoYo and our Uppababy Vista. We started out with the Vista due to its compatibility with our Peg Perego infant seat. As years went on, the Vista is clearly not a travel stroller, so we purchased the Babyzen YoYo to satisfy that requirement. The YoYo is an absolutely phenomenal stroller for pretty much any situation that does not require carrying much with you. Well, that last caveat is specifically what got me looking for yet another stroller; something that could be traveled with but which also holds more gear than the YoYo. The CityMini 2 seemed to check the boxes here so we gave it a try. I've also since purchased the 'console' which is the pouch with two cup holders and magnetic close compartment that sits behind child. Would have loved to have an umbrella attachment, but one is not made at this point. From an ease of maneuverability standpoint, it's honestly not that much better than our Vista; yes you can one-hand it if you're cruising the mall, airport, or similar flat and smooth surfaces, but I don't find it that easy to do so on more rough terrain like pavement, where the YoYo still cruises along fine. The three wheels versus four can be a blessing and curse. They make it easy to push the thing into a corner to consume less space, such as at a restaurant, but that also means only one way back out, which can make for more difficult departures from elevators where not everyone is so considerate of the person trying to get the stroller out of the corner where it only has one path until it's out far enough to turn. Storage; yes, MUCH more than the YoYo, and more usable in form, but things go in and out via the small portal between the legs, or small access via the back, so it's barely usable for large items even though the space exists. It's of course dramatically easier to fold up than just about any stroller; yank the handle, done. I would not call this stroller all that easy to re-deploy from folded position. It's not exactly light weight, and half the time I try to unfold it, the fold clasp gets past one half of the frame rail before catching again on the second, requiring a now-awkward movement to release it again while still trying to hold it up with one hand. For travel, it's actually a fairly wide stroller in the back, and the wheels are a reasonable diameter, so this is not just a throw it in the back of an SUV with a ton of suitcases type stroller. You can remove the wheels, and easily at that as a simple push of the release and they pop off, but at the same time do you want to do that? I'm actually a little confused as to why the wheels are so large; this is not an actual jogging stroller, I've run with the Vista, I would not feel comfortable running with this, and if not running with it, smaller wheels would likely have been fine. Anyway, the fit, finish, build quality, materials, etc. are all top notch. I would have no qualms about recommending this stroller if you want an easily folded model, with good storage, okay accessories, at its price point. I realize the YoYo is much more expensive, and our Vista is a big behemoth, so both of those won't be for everyone. Baby Jogger is right in the middle with this offering and it's a good one, it's just not ideal for my use case, and I found the unfolding process, and larger wheels for a non-running stroller, to be a bit frustrating at times.

We got this for our newborn, but we ordered it almost 6 months ahead of time because we wanted to make sure it was available. There are some very weird, glaring issues with this stroller that I wish I had done my due diligence on before purchasing this--and before passing out of the return window. Pros: 1. It is so, so, so easy to break down. Like laughably easy. You just left it straight up and the entire thing collapses in on itself. Add to that the light frame and this is a really easy thing to break down and toss in the trunk--one handed if you need! 2. Pretty inexpensive for a stroller. Cons 1. There's absolutely no suspension for any of the wheels. As they are attached directly to the frame, every single bump results in the entire stroller violently shaking. If you're using the car seat attachment, this results in a ton of jostling. And we're not talking about curbs--we're talking about the gaps between concrete on the sidewalk. Anything worse and you're better off just lifting the back of the stroller and using it like a wheelbarrow. Hard rubber wheels make this all worse--and there's no way to replace them. 2. Where are the accessories? There's absolutely no storage except for the bottom basket, meaning if you have a drink/pacifier/etc., you have to buy the Parent Console ($45!)--and you can't have anything more than a small coffee, since the handle on the City Mini blocks access to it. 3. It doesn't stand up very well on its own. You can TRY to balance it on the handle, but it's very unstable--I ended up having to basically make sure it's leaning against a wall or it'll fall over. If you have the car seat attachment, it sticks out at a VERY odd angle as well--basically parallel to the floor. Since it's unstable, this also introduces the opportunity for someone to brush by it and knock it over. Overall, if you are sure you want the Baby Jogger, I'd recommend going with the GT2, which at least has inflatable wheels. For now, if I can't resell this, my plan is to use it for things where things will be flat--i.e., stores. But for walks around the neighborhood, I'm going to have to invest in a different stroller.

We love this stroller! I felt comfortable putting my 1-month-old twins in it thanks to the near-flat recline, so the lack of car seat compatibility turned out not to be an issue. The downsides: the harness is extremely difficult to operate, and the fold, while “easy” , is still murder on the back, even when one is careful to lift from the thighs. Seriously, though: the harness is a problem.

It is not comfortable for my nephew. He does not like to sit in it. The lock is not secure enough when the stroller is open. The storage is made of thin fabric and does not hold heavy or oversized objects. Also, when I place many items in the storage, the bottom of it touches the ground. It does not work well for me.

Overall this is a pretty nice stroller. The best parts are the calf support and the ease of maneuverability. It is light compared to the Chicco bravo stroller I had so that’s nice. It’s sleek and looks nice. It is a bit cumbersome to unlatch to open the stroller back up. I don’t love the mechanism to recline the seat but it’s manageable. The back wheelbase is pretty wide as well so when I think it’s a thin stroller, I get stuck in some places or can’t push through cause a passageway is too narrow. These are minor inconveniences for me but could be major ones to others.

We enjoy using this stroller to go about and it's collapsibility is greatly welcomed. The single strap in the seat area brings it all to a manageable package for carrying into places, though it is a bit hefty for some. The leg rest is a nice feature for the toddler plus accessing the storage area, though it is a bit tight to lift out when it's locked in. The canopy is ample in size with a peek-a-boo window to check on our little one. Wheels are pleasant to roll with, they feel extremely sturdy. Putting the stroller together was simple, instructions are easy to understand.
