I absolutely love this. I can breast feed my baby and it definitely helps take the pressure from my neck and shoulders. It’s not so bad on the back, it actually helps with the support better on my back. Easy to carry and easy to go for paces with.

This thing is not super comfortable and I find that it makes me really sweaty in warmer weather- like when I take it off I have sweat marks where the carrier was. It's fine for short term use but eventually my back starts to hurt. I think this may be better suited to those with larger hips. I have a 28 inch waist and have it tightened as much as possible but I still feel that it slips down. I cannot use it as a "hip" carrier, only with baby sitting directly in front of me. I suspect all of these style of carriers will have the same problem, regardless of the brand. In contrast, I have a hiking backpack that I can tighten enough, and it will sit directly on my hips, alleviating the pressure from my back. This is a good carrier to keep in the car for emergency use, but it's not my first choice. ... show more

So I originally tried this with my daughter when she was about a year and a half. I put her right on my hip with the carrier and a huge weight was lifted off my arms and my back. The sit is a little odd but it worked to keep her on and I was able to use my other arm freely. The issue with this is when I try to put it in front of me, with my belly it doesn't get as tight as it needs to be or have a hard surface to keep the support so it ends up tipping the seat downwards towards the ground. I found it to be uncomfortable and not helpful at all. So I exclusively use this on my hips when I need a break. I feel that if the waist band part itself was firmer it might be better but if you have a belly especially one that is not firm I don't think this one is for you. ... show more

I've been holding a 3 month old on my hip and he is heavy!! I put this on and it immediately took all the weight off and it's comfortable! It is limiting, depending on your size, the velcro part could be a little longer. But it works and I don't mind wearing it.
