I bought this PLAIN sweater to use as a base to embroider and gift. I was surprised and pleased that it is 95% cotton and 5% poly. It is a nice weight and is well constructed. There aren't any written washing instructions and I don't understand the emblems on the tag, but I washed in cold and dried delicate/low in the machine and it was fine. Didn't shrink at all on these settings. If you're going to use it for embroidery be careful to not break the cotton as it will pull the sweater, but I was able to use this for a base and it worked well for this project. I bought this in pink and it's a very light color. The only tag is in the side seam at the bottom. I think it does run a little large, but the style of the sweater seems to be what I'd think of as a loose fit anyway.

My two year old son wore this sweater for picture day. Perfect fall color and fit him great. It was a little oversized looking for him which is the look I was going for. Super duper cute and comfortable for him! I always wash my clothes with cold water and dry on low heat. Works for me with things like this! I’d buy this in another color.
