With this plater I can stretch the pizza dough before the bake and use the other one as a serving platter since they come in a pair. I also like the size of these platers. This set of 2 boards was cheaper than a singular Gozney board. I'd totally recommend getting these if you like to bake multiple pizzas at once. Then you won't have to get creative sliding pieces around to make room for fresh pies outta the oven.

These are very nice looking and seem well made as well, though they're not entirely what I was looking for. Then again, they're closer than anything else. They are very handsome, with a matte black finish, and seem very durable. They're made of compressed wood fiber, which presumably is sustainable and eco-friendly, though the maker doesn't actually make any claims about this so who knows. It is this material that makes them so useful: You can cut pizza slices directly on it without leaving any scratches (so far) nor does the pizza leave any grease stains behind. Also, it can be put in the dishwasher and it comes out beautifully. And despite its size, it actually fits in the dishwasher better than slightly smaller pizza pans to. Its performance in these areas is much better than I expected. The down-sides are not huge, and if I could I would have given these four and a half stars. First, these are really pretty heavy, as I should have expected from a dense compressed-wood product. The first time I used one I was trying to finagle a hot pizza out of a hot oven and extended my arm to work the pizza onto the board and almost dropped everything: Not having held it like that before with one hand I was unprepared for the weight on my wrist. Related to this, the board is not a peel, and doesn't slip right under the pizza; the pizza has to be maneuvered on, which is where the issue the weight comes in. I'll probably come up with some workaround, but it is an issue. It's also not intended as a baking pan, as it is rated only up to 350 degrees. That makes it okay for keeping things warm, but it's really more a serving piece than a baking one. (Though I see that others use it for stretching out their pizza dough, which is probably helpful.) Finally, these are quite expensive for a set of two, when I don't really need two. The option of buying just one would probably be welcome. All in all, though, this are a rare product that is actually nicer than expected.

We ordered these for our home and were really pleased with the quality of these boards. We bought them as pizza serving boards but given how beautiful they are we will use them as charcuterie/ serving boards as well. Love that they are made from sustainable materials also. Ordering more now to give as holiday gifts for friends.

I make pizza once a week and got these specifically for that reason. The boards are made with eco-friendly waterproof non-porous wood fiber and come attractively package. I thought these boards would be great for slicing, serving, and keeping the pizza warm and they worked perfectly. After baking, I transferred my 12” pizza to one of the boards, then kept it warm in the oven at 170°F for about 40 minutes. The boards are light weight but solid and it was easy to move the board with the pizza from place to place. The board worked very well for slicing the pizza. The pizza cutter slid across the board like butter while slicing and left no cut marks on the board. I use two layers of cheese on my pizza, a layer on the bottom and another over the toppings. My pizza is a little greasy with all that cheese, but the board cleaned up nicely without any grease staining. The boards are dishwasher safe, but I washed the board by hand using dawn dish soap and a sponge. The Babadoh logo printed on the board did wash off some, but this doesn’t bother me in the least. These are great pizza boards and work perfectly for my needs! I’m very pleased.

Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review. Growing up we made a lot of pizza from scratch in the house. Now as an adult my wife and I do the same. But when you make pizzas, you don't make one. You make 3 or 4 for the group of people who showed up because you were making pizza. This creates and issue of where to transfer the pizzas when they come out of the oven on the pizza paddle and need to be cut and served. These solve that problem. Strong, light, and perfect for transferring, cutting and serving pizza. We like them so much we are probably going to be purchasing more for my sister and my parents houses.
