Super cute Born shoes. I have the Peggy in multiple colors, and these shoes seem to last forever. I didn't have a camo pair yet so when I saw these, I had to snap them up and so glad I did. They fit great, very comfy. They look like they would be heavy but they are surprisingly very lightweight. Good traction on the soles with deep treads. Thick padding over and around the foot and ankle so they won't rub or pinch. Good arch support. Uppers are somewhat soft and flexible, not floppy, but not hard or stiff. I like the camo color, it's the current style, desert camo - with tan and muted shades of olive green, not the bright green camo that was popular years ago. The groove in the back of the heel is great for pulling the shoes off the lazy way, by using the opposite foot, or by using a boot jack, without damaging or scuffing the suede or pulling at the stitching. Not sure if that's the reason for the groove but it sure works great. ... show more

When I get a wide, 8.5 usually fits me. These did not. Still too narrow. If they don't have wide, I go up 1/2 size to a 9. I was really looking forward to these bc my others finally fell apart because I worn them for so long. Had to send it back. Ordered a 9 wide and they worked for me. Left shoe started squeaking after only wearing three times. Can’t find the source of the squeak. shoes comfortable but squeak is very annoying.

AWESOME shoes!! I have worn this style/brand for 15+ years. The only shoe I wear w/jeans. Looks great and very comfortable, I’m on my feet all day w/no pain. I buy a new pair every 3-4 years. GREAT SHOES
