    • Didn’t crush fine enough, didn’t crush large pills
I really like the concept I just think it could be better. So I put the pills into the grinder, the larger pills didn’t make it down into the area to even get grinded. I had to turn it over to get the pill out and a little mess and loss of some meds happened. I then had to cut up the pill and put it back in the grinder. After all of that, the pills weren’t crushed enough for the feeding tube. I then tried to dump it back into the grinder to try again but without the bottom piece attached (because it was in my hands with pills shavings) it poured right back out the bottom and onto the floor. That was my fault since I was still figuring this thing out. I mean I will make it work and it sure beats the hand grinder so I guess it gets a 4 star. UPDATE: ok so this really doesn’t work for me. I’ve used it several more times and pills get jammed and some don’t get crushed. I have to pour everything into a hand pill crushes every single time I use this. I will keep it and still use it along with my other pill crusher. Wish it were better because the concept of it is great. ... show more

    • Not for large pills, works well for smaller pills.
This works well for smaller pills but larger vitamins or oval shaped pills don't crush and need to be cut in 1/2 before trying to crush them. Crushes into powder well for the smaller and average sized pills.

    • Very easy to use & crushes very well
It was so easy, the directions were simple and it has an adjustment to crush extremely fine like a powder to little chunks if that's what you want. It has a handle that turns and grinds and a window to see how it's doing. I highly recommend this grinder, it's fabulous and very reasonable in price.

This is not good to crush one or two pills. May work fine for multiples.

    • Does what I need it to do
My adult son is disabled and cannot swallow pills. He takes quite a few of various sizes. I had been using one typical pharmacy pill grinder for the heavy duty grinding, then a second for the fine tuning. This grinder does the job of the heavy duty grinder I had been doing which is great because it was hard on my arthritic hands. It does it easily and without pain for me. I do still have to grind the pills finer with the second grinder I have been using for awhile. However, I am happy with the product because it does the job I need it to do. ... show more

    • Works pretty good BUT....
I gave it 4 stars cause it does work but I wanted it to grind up tums. You gotta break them up into quarters to grind. It won't do large pills. Not a chance.But it grinds them to dust after that so it is doing what I need it to do. I grind up a bunch, put them in a old script bottle.

    • Not so good with large pill
This device would do fine with smaller and softer pills than what I bought this for. My pill is on the large side of pills with a definite hardness (unable to crush with spoon). The pill would not fit easily into the crushing mechanism, I ended up putting the pills in a coffee grinder to break apart and then placed in the unit and was able to grind into powder. ... show more
