I used the glitter dip on my natural nails. I used two coats. I recommend waiting a full minute before brushing excess glitter off. Also recommend wearing a mask because the glitter gets in the air. I would say the two most important things for this style of nail would be: 1.) Make sure you have a buffing file to buff near your cuticle, your nail tip, or any extra bumpy main nail surface 2.) IMPORTANT : Use a thin layer of top coat and DO NOT get it on your skin. I also take my time and run the top coat over the front tip of my nail to seal the end of my nail. ***helpful tip: make sure to use alcohol wipe to clean the activated area, as well as remove any excess dust. Excess dust on nail will turn white once top coat is added….I found out the hard way :) 3.) Do your nails on something that catches the dust, like a paper towel, pillowcase, anything you can wash or throw away. The dust tends to get everywhere. All I really wanted was some protection on my real nails when I type for work. This is perfect !!! Highly recommend ... show more

The directions are very straightforward, but lacked this tip. After dipping the nail into the color you should give it 30 or so seconds before LIGHTLY brushing off the excess powder and do so with the brush angled. Otherwise the bristles mess it up. Also, I'm a very active tomboy who has a whim to get dolled up from time to time. I'm rough on polish, fake nails, etc. so I think it could last a bit longer on someone who has a gentler lifestyle. ... show more

Really loved the colors and the ease of application however I believe this needs practice, it was my first time using this and my nails did not look as great as I had hoped they would. Two times applied this product and I am not sure what I'm doing wrong but it's always uneven on top and seems bulky. Does remove easily and I will keep trying this product since I am a beginner and it may be user error. This dip nail set is so much better than gel nails I’ve always done. I decided to give this a try and I’m sold on it! It feels like acrylic nails which is nice so it can keep my nails strong and the paint to not chip off so easily.

I’m pretty sure this is super glue with powder color. The base and top coat smell so bad like super glue. No turning back now! Easy enough to use if you can stand the smell. This will be a one use product, I wouldn’t buy or use again. I should have read more reviews but the ones I did read didn’t mention the super glue smell. I really wanted to like this product and was so excited to try it, just to be disappointed. Oh well. ... show more

Honestly the worst part was getting my salon dip off. I’d suggest you be sure you have plenty of acetone and use the dipping in plastic bag method. Wrapping myself took forever. Once I finally was able to prep nails the process went smoothly. Took my time. Pretty.
