The assembly was a nightmare. Either the holes didn't line up with hardware or needed to be re drilled to accept the appropriate screw. The included screw driver was tiny and kept stripping screw heads. I may as well have build it myself from scratch.

This is a great storage shelf or bookcase. I use it as a bookcase in my sons room and there’s also a bottom part where I put some of his toys. It has really helped me organize and be able to keep his room clean. I love that it was designed as an open display bookcase so my son can easily see all of his books. We use this in our playroom as an alternative to a traditional wooden bookshelf. My kids are rough on wooden furniture and they always seem to get broken. I like this style for housing books because it allows you to see the front on the book and not just the spine of the book which a child is more likely to pick up a book and read it this way ... show more

This was easy to assemble, it’s not the sturdiest bookshelf around, but for holding my kids books it’ll do a great job. I really like the way it looks and that it seems to hold quite a bit without taking up too much space.

This bookcase works perfectly for my wife and I when we sell at the farmer's market. It gives us five shelves of space in a vertical form and makes it possible to showcase a large number of items in a very small space...or footprint if you will. It took me 22 minutes to assemble and the bolts go in quick and easy with the included allen wrench. It is fairly lightweight, I can easily lift it up and place it on top of the market stuff in the back of the van. My wife even thinks it is a good idea. I would have no hesitation buying another one for my side of the market stand. It is not going to come apart until I take it apart and I'm not sure why I would do that at this point. I can't speak to it's value as a childs' bookshelf but as portable display stand for our farmer's market stand it works superbly. Sturdy, easy to put together and a nice white finish are the pro's for this product...and I cannot think of any con's. Well done! ... show more

    • This is a nice bookshelf and easy to put together.

This went together fast. Faster with two people, as it's easier to line up both sides with the end pieces, but it can be done with one person. It just takes a little longer. Once up, it feels pretty sturdy. The shelves are shallow, so this is made for taller, thinner books to be stood up. The bottoms of the shelves are slatted and the fronts of each shelf are pretty low, so this isn't great for magazines unless they're pretty darn thick. I'm using this for canvases. It's good storage and I can fit a lot on. The lower shelves hold baskets and trays of my art supplies. While this is very good for a kid's room and for a library style room, it works really well for me as an art station. The price is fair. The metal is solid and the stand is plenty sturdy. It comes with wimpy stickers and zip ties for wall anchors, so if you intend to really load this up, you'll want to figure out a better solution to anchor this to a wall, especially in a kid's room, so that it doesn't get pulled over. Everything is smooth on it. No rough spots or burrs or point edges. I really like the simple, clean look and the versatility of it. It's a great stand. ... show more
