These feel great on your hands and they weren’t very difficult to put on my wife’s aluminum paddle. Definitely would recommend to anyone with a smooth finish paddle! Definitely gonna be keeping the ones I put on my wife’s. However, I have a Carlisle Magic Plus carbon fiber paddle and the paddle has a rougher finish on it. Virtually impossible to put this grip on it. Which was saddening cause I put about an hours worth of hard effort trying to get them to work. I got them partly down the paddle but couldn’t get them to go any further. I quite literally had to cut them off of the paddle. Great grip and no lore slide = no more blisters. Follow directions tips though and put on with paddle in the water. Get water in the grip or you might be there an hour tryig to slide it on a standard kayak paddle

I ordered two sets. They seem to be well-made and wide. If you’re looking for silicone handles, I think these are a good choice I ended up returning them for neoprene versions that were easier to put on the paddles.

4.5 hours of fairly hard paddling zero fatigue. Where as prior trips, on the same stretch, fatigued my hands and fingers. I'm 52 yrs into life so that may play a roll in the hand fatigue. Though my 17yr old was very well pleased with hers.

It is a nice texture and soft rubber but I can't get it to fit too good. My paddle I guess is kinda thick so I have to find a way to get it down to the place where I can use it easier
