I do apartment maintenance and I carry a little m12 drill, a pouch by this brand, and keep this tool bag on my cart with all my other tools I don’t need quite as often. Initially I carried all of my tools in this thing and I will say the handle with the pad and the shoulder strap work so nice. I took the strap off cause the bag was so heavy it was hurting my shoulder at night haha. Then I got to just carrying it which is comfortable but I just had too many tools so that’s why I’m using the set up I am now. Depends what you throw in it and how much you need to move around. I love all the different compartments and places to put things. Nothing bad to say about it at all. Great value, solid design. If you need something this size it won’t let you down. I’ve even dumped it off the golf cart on the street full of tools. Totally fine. ... show more

This is exactly what I needed. I'm tired of always having to go outside every time I need a tool in the house. Now I can put the tools i need the most often in this tool carrier and store it in the closet. It is very sturdy and well made. The price was really great for such a quality carrier. It has so many pockets and places to hold tools. I really do like the metal handle which you are able to tilt to the left or right in case you want to store it like on a shelf in case it may be too tall to fit. My son already spotted it and now he really wants one as well to keep tools in his truck. Oh it also has a long pocket on one side that is as long as the length of the carrier with a sturdy zipper. Im thinking about buying another one to keep in my truck for emergencies to have tools on hand. Great product! Great price.. and delivered the day after I bought it. ... show more

I've used this on several jobs. The open top provides easy access and visibility to the tools. The interior is divided and has a few loops to keep tools upright, so they aren't falling over and obstructing other tools as much. The pockets around the sides allow me to store smaller, more often used items in an easily accessible place. The shoulder pad is comfortable and since the exterior pockets are only on three sides, I can carry it over my shoulder without getting poked and scraped.     • Great bag for my “grab n go” tools

I keep a set of dedicated tools in each truck and motorcycle, but most of my tools are in the shop which is a little walk from the house. A few tools in the kitchen drawer (screwdriver, pliers, hammer, level, diagonal cutters, and a Crescent wrench). But I was always having to make a trip, or two, out to the shop for something I needed when doing quick “honey doos” around the house or if I ran over to the neighbors. So I’ve put together a collection of tools that lets me do 90% spur of the moment projects and I was looking for a bag. Enter AWP, I have a couple of their items already and have been very satisfied, my decision came down to a different bag and this AWP, I chose the AWP because I thought the green lining would be handy for seeing things in the bottom of the bag. Well, they sent me a bag with the black lining, must be an older version. Besides the color (the black does match my other AWP items) it’s exactly the same bag, plenty big, heavy duty, balanced well and perfect number of pockets and sleeves. I was on my way to another project and instead of trying to return it I decided to keep it, and load it up. Even though it’s not green ;-( it works fine. I guess the black interior won’t show dirt as much as the lime green color. Only other issue I’ve had is twice now picking it up by the shoulder strap, the strap catches the tape measure clipped to the end and sends it flying. Just be careful picking it up and you’ll be fine. 4* because I’m really bummed about getting an older version thats not green, but otherwise I’ll get over it. This is my go to fix it tool bag. Smaller than my electrician backpack, larger than my quick on the job pack and fully loaded It's managble. Plenty of pockets from pens, nut drivers, multi tools staple gun, and drills. Holds 4 rolls of tape and is sectioned off to keep things organized. Sits flat, sturdy, stores well, looks good, and is convient. No more digging through the big tool box, no more running out of room, and no odd shaped larger bag - this bag is worth the lack of hassle. ... show more

    • Great layout, very tough and sturdy

I used a gatemouth zipper top tool bag for years, and I always kept it open because closing the top eliminated about half the space inside the bag! It was also hard to find tools in the bag, I frequently had to empty it out looking for something down at the bottom. I finally discovered there was such a thing as a "tool tote", such as this. Since it's designed to be open, it can orgnize tools vertically in pockets and compartments. Wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers -- everything is so easily accessible now! (Hallelujah!) This one has a very nice collection of external pockets. I especially like the double row on the front, that gives you access to your tools on the side facing you, with a large zipper pouch on the back for odds and ends. I thought a rigid handle would be good for the weight, and I went with the swivel handle because it seemed that a fixed handle would make it difficult to put larger items in the bag. Good call! The rigid handle is (IMHO) essential for a heavy bag, and I can rotate the handle out of the way and drop my drill driver right in the middle compartment. Perfecto. I got the smaller bag, and I can load so many tools in it that it's just about as heavy as I can reasonably carry. I'm tempted to get the larger one for toting larger tools like a circular saw, but so far I'm not really sure how practical that would be. I'm happy to wait and see if I feel the need for that later. If I do, I'm coming back to get this brand. It's been great so far! ... show more
