I used this particular item to surround a dog kennel. Dogs kept barking, barking, barking at any person they saw, including myself in the dark, and livestock walking around in their own pasture! What a complete headache! This item popped up and I snatched it with this particular use in mind. When ordering though, I ordered one that was way too long so cut it off and used my own grommet tool to install others similar as to where the manufacturer did on the other side. THEY did a much better job but mine will work. The material itself is sturdy. Often when I put things up such as a tarp or a tarp even with wind holes cut in it, the winds still rip it. I don't expect this to happen with this item. The mesh holes are far enough apart that I think it will stand up. The color is a darker green and should enhance most places it's put up. Right now it's dead of winter and the landscape is mud, mud, mud everywhere! Soooo, doesn't really blend in so well. But it will in a few months. The dogs can see through it but not enough to determine if it's a large animal or a person they don't know. In the dark, it's amazing! (No street lights, only movement activated solar lights) Now, I did have one of them pull the windscreen through a larger hole in the kennel fence and she chewed it to pieces, so luckily I had that extra piece to replace it. Not dog chew proof... Super easy to install by myself. Just required measuring and I used zip ties without problem. I would certainly repurchase this item again but measure correctly first, lol... Would also recommend to others. Nothing to complain about and everything good to crow about! 5 stars for me! ... show more

I had originally got this for our fence to act as a deterrent and an end to the war between my dogs and the neighbors dogs. A couple times a day they would meet up at the fence and stare at each other through the gaps until one of them opens their mouths and then its just 4 dogs barking at each other for no reason until my neighbor or myself tell them to shut up. Right when i got this screen, my neighbor said they were putting up the house for sale and two days later he says it's sold. So, i decided to wait to see if the new neighbors had dogs. They dont. No need for the screen yet but I wanted to check it out in case I could use it for something else. So the material feels strong enough to take on the elements for a few years depending on your location. California sunlight can deteriorate these pretty quickly if using cheap material. This feels construction grade, and the grommets for tie down or attachment to chain link are spaced nicely to keep material snug against the fence and wont flap around if windy. Also the stitching around grommets feels and looks pretty heavy duty so they shouldn't rip or tear away from the material. Grommets are also stitched into a heavier material than the screen itself that is an inch and a half from top to bottom and not stitched into the screen material itself which gives it added strength. All in all a great option for some extra privacy from the neighbors or anyone walking by. ... show more

I live in a "holler" that seems to be a perpetual wind tunnel. This product has protected my garden from wind destruction so far. I attached it to T-posts. Easy to do. I chose to attach the bottom to the ground using ground staples through the bottom grommets. Works well.

We only had this up for a little while at the end of summer and took it down before winter so that it wouldn't get ruined but I feel pretty confident that it would not have anyways. Thick and heavy duty. Keeps those nosy neighbors to themselves. Recommend just spraying it with a hose to clean if you need to. ... show more
