I used to wear something similar 50 years ago when I raced dirt motorcycles. Now that I am lots older, I am having issues with stomach muscle weakness, maybe from three hernia repairs, or 15 extra pounds. This is just a little big for my size 38 pants waist. I have it adjusted to max tightness, and it works well enough. This should promote the healing process for someone that does not take it as easy as the doctor recommended.
